OMG so excited!!

A good friend of mine just rang me. Had no idea at first who it was, lol.
6 years ago this friend found out she suffered endometriosus (sp?). She was booked in for further investigation when she found out she was 8 weeks pregnant, so never went any further.
5 years later she decides she's ready for another one. Went off the pill, but nothing was happening. After months of trying her DP & I finally convinced her to go back to her gp to have the further tests done & see whats going on. She went in, booked some tests & her gp told her that if nothing had happened in 2 months they'd do tests on her dp if hers showed nothing. She has been trying for a whole 8 months now.
Starting to think it was never going to happen she found herself another job, which she started yesterday.
She came here for a coffee after & told me she was a few days late, but had been 4 days late last month, so wasn't really thinking anything of it. I pointed out my sore boobs had been my only reason for testing when pg with DS.
Anyway, so she rings me...

Her 'Are you sitting down?'
Me 'no...why?'
Her 'just sit down'
Me (wondering who died) 'what? Why I gotta sit down for??'
Her 'COZ I'M HAVING A BABY!!'
Me (not too clever) 'what do you mean your having a baby?'

Then the penny dropped...She's having a baby!!!
OMG I'm so excited for her!!!! Yay!

Now that I'm over the initial shock, lol!!
