Orgasms - hope I can post this here...

OK, I have to admit to this because I want to know if it's happend to anyone else

Since early in this pregnancy I have been having spontaneous orgasms during sleep. It's happend maybe 6 or 7 times now. This has never, ever happened to me before (spontaneous ones I mean). I wake up and I'm in the middle of an orgasm, really strong ones too.

It worried me at the start, because I was afraid it might somehow detach the baby, but it doesn't seem to have affected things.

Has this happened to anyone else?? Is it a common thing during pregnancy?? It's really weird (not that it's unpleasant!). I'm wondering if it's got to do with increased blood flow or something.

Hope it's OK to post this in here, I'm not a member of AO, and it is pg-related.

Jesus if this happened to me, I'd be knocked up all the bloody time.. pmsl

Seriously though, orgasms just help tone your uterus for labour (so my OB said) so I wouldn't worry too much..

    Enjoy

LOL, one of the perks to being pregnant, i personally have never had it although i have alot of dreams that involve sex and other things
I've heard it to be very common, i wouldnt worry and i would def enjoy them... why let them go to waste... lol

Pretty common I think! The only time I have them is when I have been pg... not that often but enough!

I dont' have spontaneous ones but it is fairly common for me to have a vivid dream and wake up pulsing (tmi... sorry).

Thanks girls, I'm glad it seems reasonably common and I'm not a freak! Most of them have been quiet, but once I woke DH up. He thought I was in distress At least the accompanying dreams have all involved him (so far).
