Please reassure me! Preg viable?...

Ok, so I'll try to give as much history as possible...

I got a BFP on the day my AF was due (18th Nov) - LMP was 20th Oct.

Had a BT on 20th Nov and HcG was 202. By LMP calcs, this would be 4wk2days.

Went for an early scan on Friday, at what I calc to be 6wk2days. They saw a gest sac, yolk sac but no fetal pole. And told me it was measuring 5wk5days roughly.
I guess I coulda ovulated and/or implanted late...
They could also see the corpus luteum on my right ovary (the thing that 'feeds' baby until placenta takes over).

I went for the scan coz in 5months of TTC I had 2 chemical preg's and DP is on medication for his condition that is supposed to make him infertile. His sperm count came back at 40million, 35% motility and 5%normal morphology....

I am going to my GP on Wed to get another referral for another scan. When should I make it for? The sonographer said on Friday that I should come back in 2-3weeks, but I dont think I can wait that long!!!

Does anyone have positive stories that can reassure me that this preg is ok?

Awww honey its horrible that waiting - I do know...

Okay is it possible you ovulated later than you think you did? The level of 202 for 4 weeks is good... Sometimes early u/s can be iffy. It is very possible & probable that there is not a detectable heartbeat that early. Many obs won't u/s until 7weeks for that reason.

I would suggest a couple of things...
Firstly a reapeat hcg today if you can get in...
Reapeat it in 48 hours - if that level is doubling that's a really positive sign.
If it were me - if the blood work is looking good I would have a repeat u/s on Friday this week. By This Friday you should see a nicely beating heart and of course a fetal pole...
