predicting my babies gender through intercourse timing?
hey there i was reading up on intercourse timing and gender swaying and i was wondering if any of you could take a guess as to whether or not i am having a boy or girl????

i am having a 4d scan at 12 weeks and am hoping for some reason they can tell already at that point lol...
would love to hear some opinions on what ppl think it will be though???
lol Thats a toughie.. I have read that if you are trying for a girl then BD a few days before O and if you want a boy then as close to O as possible. Your O day is right in the middle of the BD before and after O... I would take a guess and say a girl, cause that was my first thought!
Seeing as you BD'd on the PM two days before the thermal shift I would think that there is a good chance for a boy. It's really only 24 - 48 hours which still can leave lots of motile male sperm.
Then again those methods don't always work...
i wouls say girl too- cause my chart looks similar - but we BD'ed on the day of my rise but i had heaps and heaps of spillage - so i'm assuming that it happened before that.
I had my NT scan it it as impossible as bubs was a wriggly woo an swouldn't stay still

But i hope you get your girl As far as I am concerned the more women pregnant with girls due around the same time as me the better my odd are for a boy (as long as they don't mind having girls...well, I don't mind having a girl... but YKWIM).
Ok I have no idea what where or when with Maddy... But with Indah we b'd everyday for about 5 days leading up to O, then twice on O day & then a few days after!
We got a girl..
With this one it was about 2-3 days before O'ing & then the day after O.... The 12wk scan suggested a boy!??? So who knows!??? I think there are alot more factors than just the timing that play a part in the gender.... But good Luck!!!
I know you don't want to hear it but I agree with Sammy....being that you BD'd on the evening of CD 16 and ovulated on CD18 that gives you good odds for a boy since you did the deed a little more than 24 hours before O.
I kinda throw a spanner in the works for those using gender swaying by intercourse timming,,, as we wanted a girl,, but fate stepped in anyways, and the last time before O we DTD was 3-4 days before ovulation. We did not do it again at all that month (or since for that matter,, so there is not doubt in our timing or dates)
WE found out though we are having a little boy,,,,, so there you go,, my hubby must have super resistant and high stamina swimmers to make it that long till the eggy was released!!
Fun fact btw which has caused many a giggle at my antenatal visits,,,, but this bubba was conceived on the 06/06/06 lol devils day
