So here I am at 16 weeks with pregnancy number 2, having not done a whole lot and feeling guilty for it!!
I remember with DS I read my weekly books diligently, I knew what to expect, I was busy figuring out equipment I would choose, starting tho think about names etc.
This time, I've done nothing. But there isn't much to do. I have all the equipment - I chose very carefully last time so none of it needs to be replaced or anything. I am reading the books, and some different ones, but it just doesn't feel the same because I already do know what to expect. And as for names, we still have our shortlists from last time and I'm not finding out what we are having so can't do much more than that. I will look to see if I want to revise some of the names and add to the list, but I don't want to do it all in the first half of my pregnancy!!
So my question is does anyone else feel like this? Or what has anyone done to make the second or any subsequent pregnancies special? I really love being pregnant, so I really do want it to feel special.
Feeb - Sounds like we are living parallel lives!! Jett was a winter baby too (Aug 08) but at least this one is coming as we are approaching Winter.
My DH sounds the same as yours - doesn't have any suggestions but says no to everything I suggest.
It just seems hard to make this second pregnancy and baby as special as the first, and it certainly deserves it just as much!
