When was the last time you had sex? There is a possibility that you are pregnant, some women don't get a positive test for a long time for some reason, it's just how they are. That said there could be lots of other things going on. Are you on the pill still? Last time you were here I think you were... Are you still taking it regularly? Have you lost lots of weight or put on lots of weight recently?
My boyfriend and I do it all most daily.
I havent been on the pill for a few months as I live in a country town and cannot get to a doctor often.
I haven't been to a doctor at all, and I do not have the kind of parents I can talk to.
I'm not sure how long it will be befoe I can get to one either.
Have you tried different brands of tests? Some are more sensitive than others.
Condoms are only 97% effective at preventing a pregnancy, so if you are using them there is still a chance it can happen.
As for the Dr, you don't need parents permission once you are 16 & they cannot tell your parents anything that happens during the appointment. I think you really need to get to one somehow, because an absence of periods isn't normal usually, there could be something going on, even if it's not pregnancy.
Are you using another form of birth control/contraception? Most pregnancy tests would usually show a positive pregnancy by now if you are 3 weeks late (and pregnant), especially if you are testing first thing in the morning. Are you wanting to be pregnant, or not?
thank you for your help.
Yeah, I've been to the doctors alone a few times. but its the matter of getting there.
also, I have recently left school and got an apprenticeship.
I'm not wanting to be pregnant, but if I were I would never terminate a pregnancy, I would consider abortion, however I know that my boyfriends parents are will to help with a child. (my boyfriends mum and I talk alot)
I will try to get to a doctor somehow.
it was much easier when I went to school as the school is near the doctors.
Terminate and Abortion are same thing... I think you might mean Adoption
Looking at your post history, you keep writing about the same things (thinking that your pregnant every 2nd month this year), I would advise you to be a little more careful with your pill and protection.
There is other contraception available that is a little more effective and last longer, maybe a chat to your doctor can point you in the contraception that best suits your needs.
Take care
If you get along with your boyfriend's mum, have a chat with her & see if she can help you get to a Dr. I think it's really important to try & get to see one... You seem to have this occur quite frequently, so there is a possibility that you have cysts on your ovaries or some other condition that is making your periods late & erratic. There may be other reasons, but because it happens regularly I think, aside from getting a pregnancy test to rule that out, you need to get a proper check up. Do you have pap smears done regularly? Have you ever had a gynocologist check up before?
when i was a little older than yourself every month i would freak out that i was pregnant but then when i wasn't, i would be subconciously a little disappointed and for some reason kept assuming i had issues and wouldn't get pregnant (a fear of being infertile)... this went on for a little while with me not being careful with my boyfriend and then guess what, voila, i was pregnant and it was unwanted. i'm not saying this is what you are doing to yourself every month just telling you what happened to me, as i didn't have the baby and i still have dreams about the whole thing more than 10 years on and even though i have healthy kid(s) now....... be careful and make the effort to get to the doctors and get some better birth control, the consequences are life altering. by the way if you get pregnant you have to go to the doctors ALOT, think of how you will cope with that and how your apprenticeship will suffer.... you only have to go once to get your birth control sorted out... it can't be that hard.
sorry didn't mean to be a lecture, i hope it all works out for you and that you are not pregnant, if it is an unwanted situation. good luck.
