Fatigue, I reckon. I kept chewing a chunk out of my bottom lip at the same spot, about 3 times in 1-2 days, lol.
No period
High BBT
Sore breasts
Sensitive nipples
Nausea / Vomiting
Reflux / Heartburn
Aversion to smells
Sense of taste / metallic taste in mouth
Over Emotional
None of the above. Cramps from 6DPO which lasted a few weeks. I knew I was pregnant before my period was due and before POAS.
Fatigue, I reckon. I kept chewing a chunk out of my bottom lip at the same spot, about 3 times in 1-2 days, lol.
Cramps identical to those I would feel in the 12-24 hours before AF came, only AF never came and the cramps lasted from about 8-9 dpo/CD 22-23 right through most of the first tri. Also food tasted weird, not bad, just weird. That was about 8 dpo too.
Cramps from about two days post embryo transfer that carried in for weeks
Tired!
All three, then evening sickness with this sticky one!
And could not stomach a cup of tea, usually love my tea.
Tired, tired, tired. Then a bit crampy.
I remember with DD having a metallic taste & wanting to pee more often. With my 2 angel babies I don't remember symptoms, I just knew I was pregnant from being so aware of my cycle. Bring on the metallic taste! Lol
For me it was a ravenous appetite, and just feeling 'different' as well as extreme fatigue.
ETA and feeling really hot and sweaty.
For me it was needing to pee a lot!
It was different for different pregnancies. For the boys, i had overwhelming fatigue, heartburn and I was extremely irritable
Maybe a bit TMI but my symptom with every pregnancy has been copious amounts of watery CM. Each time I thought AF had arrived but it was just the CM, I'd do a test and it would come back positive.
Other symptoms have been more frequent urination, heart burn (I only get it when pregnant), sore boobs and nausea.
Oh I just checked my diary from when I conceived DD and it says sore nipples on cd 18 then sore lower bak on cd 19 so those would have been earlier symptoms than the AF feeling and food stuff I described.![]()
the tingling nipples! I remembered the feeling distinctly from previous pregnancies. The missed period and other symptoms came a couple of days later - sore boobs, metallic taste and cramps. Once I got myI got even more symptoms but so mild that if I wasn't paying attention I probably wouldn't have noticed. Mild nausea started around 6.5weeks but in hindsight I think it was the pregnancy multi's I had started taking (Swiss) as once I switched to Elevit, the nausea went away. The fatigue hit worst around 8 weeks.
Pregnancy #1 - Could not tolerate the smell of alchohol.... (what you said Peanutter: either pregnant or dying)
Pregnancy #2 - A call from the Clinic
None of the above. I have an old jaw injury that always cracks when I yawn, and only when I'm pregnant. So first time it was a preg test becuase I didn't know that, and second time a few days after conception my jaw started to crack when I yawned LOL
Lolpigs that's so random. It's so fascinating, all the ways pregnancy affects our bodies even beyond what science can explain.
Yeah totally random drs never believe me but it is now we know![]()
I think it was a missed period with Kameron. With Lachlan I said to Andrew "think we better stop at chemist on way home" I hadn't missed a period, it was before I was due, but I just knew. We were trying but it had been 3mths of nothing. With Ashton it was the same thing. I had an inkling. I don't know what gave me that inkling. I remember being in the toilet waiting for the time to pass. I looked at it and though "oh thank god it's negative" then I realised I had it upside down. My next reaction was "Oh holy ****" I didn't have to give Andrew the news he heard it from where he was in the house.
