Can anyone recommend a good pg book for a teen?

Hi there, my friends 17yr old daughter is pregnant, just wondering if there are any books that would be good for, or are aimed specifically for younger mums?
General pregnancy and birthing info...

Up the duff by Kaz Cooke might be useful - I found it more like a novel than an info-type book but that made it easy to read. It was very funny in parts and i really enjoyed reading it. Might be a good start rather than the more full-on, sometimes overwhelmingly scary pg/birth books!!

Hmm, it's not aimed at younger mums but I found "what to expect when you're expecting" was awesome!!! I was 23 when I got pg, so young but not a teenager... and it was really really helpful!!

I second Up the duff by kaz Cooke, my sister was pg at 19 and recommended it to me when I fell pg, has heaps of info, explains all the big words in normal person language lol and doesn't tell you that you must do this or that. Good book, I would have been lost without it. I was 23 for most of my pgcy.

Whatever you do, dont let her watch 16 and Pregnant or Teen Mom on MTV. I imagine it would be a bit too real for someone in her situation (although it should be compulsory viewing for all non-pregnant teens IMO!)

I 4th "Up The Duff" by Kaz Cooke - I was 20 when I got pregnant with my DS, and 21 when he was born, and it was the best book ever...
I just wish I hadn't had to return it to my SIL who was also around 20-21 when she got pregnant with her 1st and first bought the book, as it would come in really handy right about now when I've forgotten most of what late pregnancy was like lol

I 5th Up the Duff by Kaz Cooke easy to read and funny in parts, I didnt like what to expect when you are expecting at all.

another recommendation is Miriam Stoppard - easy to read and pics (not graphic ones just informative for each stage of pregnancy and then taking care of baby. Her new book Bonding with your Bump I am going to buy and her older other books - I have Conception Pregnancy and Birth.

for reference books I use Baby love by Robyn Barker which is awesome too.

I was a teen my 1st time around and found "what to expect when your expecting" very insightful. I read it this time round too and found it just as good as i remembered.

She's been watching that for ages, obviously not real enough for her!

First book I thought of was up the duff also.
It deals with all the nitty gritty but with humour...very easy to read.
