How much water should I be drinking?

I have just recently got my BFP after two rounds of IVF. During IVF I had to drink 2-3 litres of water a day. I know pregnant women need to up their water intake, but am I still supposed to be drinking this much? I'm going in for a scan on Wednesday so will ask the FS what he thinks, but thought you girls might also have some advice before I go.

around 2 should be OK. Some p[ople have more or less it depends on your circumstances. There is af ormula based on bodyweigth about how much you should have, pregnant or otherwise..I might try to find it

Thanks! If you do find the formula I'd be interested in seeing it, but don't go to too much trouble. At the moment I seem to get 2 down easily, it's the third I'm struggling with -- but I struggled with it even during IVF. I feel really bloated from it, and a bit queasy, but if it's good for bubs I'll push through.

I have found myself being exceptionally thirsty since getting pregnant. No matter how much I think I have had to drink, I am still thirsty.

Don't stress too much your'e body will tell you what you need and when you need it.

    Congratulations on the pregnancy!

    All the best..

2 litres a day is recommended pregnant or not so I'd try to stick to that. However, you may find that as your pregnancy progresses, you'll get thirstier (I definitely have!) so you will probably end up drinking more water anyway.

Don't worry about it too much, just try to always have a glass of water / water bottle close by as you will most likely get thirsty anyway.

Best wishes for a H&H pregnancy!
