    Question Question regarding twins.

Hello my names Kim, And we had a rather high H Cg level when we found out i was pregnant and the doctor assumed i was further along than we thought and sent us in for an ultrasound.
Turns out as my picture shows we have 2 little babies on the way. 2 separate eggs.

The question i have is i was advised due to Sac A being 2/3 the size of Sac B that i may lose Sac A at any stage.

Im wondering if anyone else has gone thru this and has any stories they could tell us regarding this.

We just had our 10 week scan the other day and again the twins measure exactly the same both have great heartbeats theres just still that difference in the sacs.

Im now going to have another ultrasound on the 6th of Oct for our 12 week down syndrome scan, as they wanted to check on the sac sizes again.

Ive had really bad morning sickness and the only thing that's helping so far is the travel bands.

Im really excited / nervous about the idea of twins as we have an 18 month old that we had a fair amount of trouble with a high risk pregnancy and complications during birth.

Sorry not sure if this is posted in the right area or not. Thanks

Congratulations! I'm sorry it's a bit stressful at the moment for you. I don't have any info for you at present, but I just wanted to say congrats! My best friend has gorgeous twin girls (21 months) and they are a delight!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I don't have any answers to your question - twins pregnancies, although amazing, can be so stressful. If no one here has answers for you, maybe try the Australian Multiple Births Association website (AMBA). Not that BB isn't great, but I found for more indepth twin info/answers I would ask there, as it was specifically for twins.

Fingers crossed for a happy and healthy pregnancy x

Congratulations! I don't have twins myself but I do have a friend who conceived her fraternal twins 6 days apart (she must have ovulated twice and they were doing plenty of BD!). The smaller twin always measured a week or so behind the larger twin. Both are now happy little three year olds, and the 'smaller' twin is slightly taller than his brother.

I was going to say, it is possible that you've ovulated twice a number of days or a week or so apart and there were two seperate conceptions, explanation the slight size variance.

    Hi

I am pregnant with twins too and my sac sizes looked different at the start too, I was worked, my fertility specialist wasn't concerned at all. He said as long as our growth and heartbeats where fine, all was fine. I have had a second scan and the
Sacs are different shapes which is completely understandable, and the babies are the same size.

My opinion isn't scientific , I think it could be anything, bladder fuller on one side etc. As long as your bubs reach their milestones Hun, I don't think our sacs will ever look exactly the same

Hth, and yay I have a twin belly buddy : when are you due ?
