It's my birthday this month and I keep getting asked off Dp and mum what I want.
I have decided I want some beautiful photos and Annabelle and my round self. You know the corny ones with Annabelle in fairy wings etc.
But to be honest I have know idea where to start in bookings and how naked I should be etc? Any ideas?
whether you want to do it locally or travel to Melbourne for it, check out online. Every photographer has a different style, so browse for what you have in mind. And then meet with them. You may find their style either too stilted & contrived, or a bit too 'airy', depending on your tastes.
My wedding photographer does brilliant boudoir shots that you could adapt to be very tasteful family shots, but with loving nudity (as opposed to sexy nudity).
Search for child/family photographers, or even wedding photographers as you may find they do family shots too.
eww.. I have just been looking at the Ballarat photographers... Not the best range. There was one that I like so far (not sure how the Mods feel about 'naming' so I'll let you PM me for my personal choices).
I HATE Black and White with Selective Colour photos... it's popular for weddings, where they grey-scale everything else, but retain the colour of the flowers, or the ties, or something silly. I think that looks hideous (no offence to those that like it, but I've never seen a nice one). Nor am I a fan of excessive smudging in photoshop to blur the back ground.
