I am a keen scrap booker and am finding it frustrating to not have anything other than the U/S pics I get on routine scans to scrap. I have scrapped the positive blood test results page as well as the pee stick with the 2 lines. I have scrapped the 12 week scans, the 19 week scans and the report from the 19 week scan. I was thinking of scrapping the packaging from the pregnancy vitamins that I am taking also, but thats getting desperate. Has anyone else got any ideas that I can scrap?
only that you get a preggo belly outline and pop the u/s inside that! it looks grand
Nappies and clothing being washed for the first time .. putting together the nursery furniture ... I also did a layout with all the names we had narrowed it down to with the name we finally chose circled and the birth announcement (in SMS-type format).
I am doing a scrapbook for my DD's first year and I did a two page layout with my pg belly down the sides up to 39 weeks and the ultrasound pics as well and then on the next pages, I put pictures of the presents that we got from the baby shower (and others) and like Kazbah said, pictures of clothes on the line and nursery. At the baby shower we played the name game and as we knew we were having a girl they are all pink and I have used them as the border around the double pages and they look fantastic. Plus the baby shower invite. Stupid me took the camera but didn't take any photos so I don't even have one picture of the baby shower so I printed off a pic of where we had it.
I guess you could maybe incorporate foods that you just had to have or couldn't go near and maybe the seasons as the pg progresses with beautiful blossoms, autumn leaves etc.
Good idea on the pg test pic. I am going to print out a small one now to go with my pg belly pages.
I had a friend who made up a lovely page listing her hopes and dreams for her little one. Also her feelings about being pregnant.. what she craved eating etc.
