Got my fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes crossed for your friend and her little bubba!! Please stay in there safe and warm for a little while longer, little baby - your mummy wants you to be okay!!
Sending her my prayers, I really hope it all works out.
-
Thats wonderful to read!!! Sending tonnes of sticky vibes & keeping your friend & her baby in my prayers. Hoping bub stays put for another few months :crossfingers: & your friend is blessed with a healthy baby in her arms when the time comes.
You're being a wonderful friend, as others have said, please dont under-estimate how important your friendship is to her, you two have a special bond due to being able to understand each others struggles through TTC. Alot of people just dont understand because they've never had to experience it.
-
All my thoughts and prayers are with your friend SG. So glad to hear the contractions have stopped, and bubs is staying put for now.
You are a great friend, so dont you ever doubt that for a moment. I would give anything to have a friend as caring and compassionate as you
-
I had stayed away from this thread, because it's a bit close to me at the moment, but had a look at the last few posts, and then had to go back.
Sending positive thoughts that bub hangs in there until he grows bigger.
take care,
Kate
-
:crossfingers: that the little fella keeps going strong and cooks for much much longer.
 to you and your friend
-
I hope he hangs in there... how emotionally draining for his parents and family.
-
That is wonderful beyond words! I am so happy for your friend! I will continue praying for your friend, baby and family and the medical professionals surrounding her.
-
This is good news SG...
If the baby can stay inutero for another 2 weeks the baby statistically has a 40% chance of survival (that is based on stats at the RBWH Qld). Each week the stats increase greatly. So let's all hope and pray that her body can hang on a while to this precious little boy.
Her decision to let her son go if he is born soon is a Courageous and painful one. I understand why she has chosen that & I am in awe of her strength.
I wish I could just squeeze her hand for her & tell her we are all praying for her. She is going through an unspeakably challenging time.
-
Wow, this is wonderful news.....hope bubby can stay put and cook for a few more months yet.
Thanks for keeping us updated.
-
I will be praying hard that the little one stays with his mummy for at least a few weeks longer.
Hang in there little one....
-
Sending warmth, love and hope to your friend and her darling boy. Hang on little one. :goodluck:
:heartbeat: Rachel.
-
fingers crossed that everything works out ok and her little bubba can hang on a while longer
-
More hang on little one vibes coming from me... xoxo
-
 for your friend that she keeps her baby safe inside for a while yet.
-
I just read this thread from the beginning and my tears of sadness have thankfully turned into tears of joy! I am keeping everything crossed for this little man to stay put for longer.
Thinking of you & your friend
-
You women are amazing  My friend can't believe that so many people who have never even spoken to her are praying for her, its really given her strength!
Nothing eventful today, which is great news :)
-
Oh, I missed the news! Hang in there little one:pray:
-
I am so pleased that there's good news. Every day will make a difference. Friends of ours have a healthy 3yo who was born at 24 weeks.
I am keeping your friend in my thoughts and prayers.
-

I hope all is going really well with your friend, is she still in hospital or was she able to come home? I really hope she is able to find some peace and enjoyment for the rest of her pregnancy, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for her and her family at this time, it sounds as though she has wonderful support around her
-
She's still in hospital, but doing well. A bunch of her other friends went and visited her on Friday night and washed her hair, shaved her legs, gave her a mani/pedi and made her wear a fake tiara! We're gonna make it a weekly event, to celebrate each week bub stays in!
On another note, her friends went to give her a bit of a pamper, but they found out that she hadn't been washed THE WHOLE TIME SHE'S BEEN IN!! :protest: 6 days she's been lying in that bed, leaking fluid, crying, stressing herself out, and the nurses never even gave her a bed bath! She said she felt human again once the girls had finished, poor thing.
-
Sounds like such a wonderful idea giving her a mini freshen up etc. Not nice the nurses didn't give her a bed bath before now thats a long time to go without a freshen up. Great that they are keeping her on bedrest however. Praying its doing the trick and her son is growing quickly.
-
So happy to hear things are looking up. She's got great friends :)
-
Thank goodness for good friends!
-
Oh the poor thing! I hope one of her friends have said something to make sure that doesn't happen again! Does she have a partner that could say something for her or give her a bed bath?
I am glad everything is going well and that is lovely of her friends, keep us updated!
-
Adding my  for your friend and her baby. What a terrible time she has had. Stick tight, little one! And hooray that she has you and such good friends to keep an eye on her and give her support - love the tiara and in bed pamper! Big kisses for you all xxxxxx

I am so glad that your friend has some gorgeous friends who went in and gave her a wonderful pampering, I bet she felt a million dollars afterwards. I am horrifed that she was left for 6 days :o that is just terrible :(
So glad bub is still being a sticky one, we want to hear of many many more weeks of baking, every day in the belly is worth 3 in NICU, so much much better to be still safely inside xxoo
-
Wow what a turn of events, my heart was breaking for them yesterday and now what a great change! Best wishes and heart felt prayers for your friend and bubba.
-
I've only just seen this thread... My goodness your poor friend I couldn't imagine how she is feeling right now, but I am so glad bub has decided to stay in there a bit longer! I pray bub stays in there at least a few weeks longer.
That is terrible the nurses haven't given her a bath, the poor women has enough to deal with right now she could at least feel human and have a nice relaxing wash to make her feel a little better. I really do hope that when all of this is over with she puts in a formal complaint because that shouldn't happen!!!
Wishing her all the very best, her and bub are in my prayers.
-
what a lovely and thoughtful thing for those friends to do!
 that bubby and mummy will keep on going great and that bubby stays put for a long while yet xx
-
Please stay put little bubba!!
-
How is your friend going sunflowa_girlie? I hope bubba is staying put and some fluid is still inside and your friend is going well.
-
Yep, bubba's staying in, she hasn't lost any more fluid, hasn't had any more contractions etc. I tell you, I didn't expect this story to have a happy ending, but it has!
-
oh wow, i SO hope bubba stays put for ALOT longer!
miracles sometimes happen, i hope it's your friend's turn to get a miracle - for her bub to survive.
-
That's great! I am so happy for your friend! :loveshower:
-
Wow, I just came across this thread and I am so happy to hear the good news!! Sending some big prayers to your friend and her little boy, I pray very hard that he continues to thrive and stays put for a long while yet!
