The babys head is "fixed"

When the midwife was checking how far the babys head is etc, she made the comment to the other woman who was writing on my card, that the head was "fixed"

Does this mean that babys head is engaged?? I should have asked, but there was too much going on that i forgot..

Yep... at least I think so. When babies head engages it becomes sort of fixed into position and the baby can move it around less.

I'm pretty sure it means that it is just engaged. So 4/5 above the brim of the pelvis. At least that is how it was described to me by my midwife last time.
