Unhappy SO STUPID - will it affect bub??

I am SO STUPID!! I can say that my baby brain is at its worst today!

We had a bbq last night and for desert we had mini apple & custard peis (frozen nannas brand) and mu DH didnt want his - any way it sat on the bench all night after it had come out of the oven - I wrapped it up and put it in the fridge this morning thinking I willl give it to the dogs - but when I got home just before for some reason I heated it in the microwave and put cram on it and started to eat it!! I only took 2 mouthfulls and then it hit me that it had been on the bench ALL night!

SO now my question is will I have just subjected bub to listeria?? I had heated it till it was really hot - and only ate 2 small spoons -IM SO STUPID!!

Please tell me it will be ok.. stressing here!!

I'm sure you will be fine. The risks are so minimal and you are about to pop any day. I wouln't worry yourself.

    Hi Kafer girl,

I'm sure the heating will have minimized the risk to virtually nothing! Don't stress, it's so easy to forget about these things. Especially so far along, the risk is even smaller. You'll be fine and don't worry . Don't stress and think in a few weeks you won't have to worry about that - in fact you'll probably wish you had a few more pies to eat!

    Cheers

Im sure you`ll be fine too. I ate so many things in the first trimester of this pregnancy that I shouldnt have and was really worried.

WIth my DS I ate a few things I wasnt suppose to in the last few weeks, because it was Xmas and I figured I was so close to having him...and you are too, so dont stress about it ok.

hey, i am a medical scientist and worked in microbiology lab B4 i was a SAHM, listeria grows below 26 degrees (Room temp), but is easily killed at 37 (body temp). so if you heated it to steaming you should have no probs.
these things are so hard to remember, aren't they.
    best of luck
