    Sore legs while sleeping

    Or while trying to sleep....

It has just started in the last week or so, I'll wake up during the night with really sore legs/bum on the side I have been sleeping on. I do roll over to the other side but generally have trouble getting back to sleep because the other side is aching, and it doesn't take long for the new side I'm sleeping on to get sore. Got out of bed this morning at 6 because both sides were aching and I couldn't sleep, plus I didn't have a third side to roll onto!

Have done a bit of googling and it sounds fairly normal, what can I do to help stop them from aching?? I do nothing during the day that would be abnormal for me (e.g. like more exercise than usual), so I don't think it is anything that I'm doing, and I don't want to have to take panadol for it as I would probably be taking them nearly every night! I've heard that sleeping with a pillow between your legs is supposed to help..just have to find a spare pillow...

I get it too It sucks!! My hips have started to click and clunk too now...lol. It's all normal and I don't think there really is too much you can do apart from trying different things like the pillows to make it a little more bearable and comfortable.

I had a body pillow, a long pillow that I slept with, I found it really helped with achy hips, and supporting the tummy as I got bigger.

I bought a body pillow which I used to put between my knees and cuddle it at the top. It did help but I still had some bad nights where I just could not get comfy.

I have a body pillow from when I was pg with Oskar, but this time around I don't like it under my belly for support at all. I'm finding it seriously uncomfortable to the point it makes my tummy feel slightly sore. Weird, cos I loved it last time!

what sort of ache is it? is it a crampy ache or a sore bones ache? or a pinching ache? A crampy ache would be good to get calcium and magnesium tablets for, and pinching is the pillow between the knees.
