Question Starting to worry - HCG and Progesterone levels.

Im not sure if Im reading into things too much.

On Monday (3wks and 6 days) I had a blood test, my Hcg count was 58 and my progesterone was 62. Im starting to worry this is a little low!..

I know she said it was ok but....

On the blood test sheet it shows:

    4 weeks lower = 40 Median = 350 Upper = 2000

So Im sitting here thinking its a little low and could fall into a higher risk of m/c..

Im going to my normal doctor this morning.. He will probably tell me to relax..

    What do you girls think..??

I wouldn't stress about it Eng - a HCG level of 58 around the time your blood test was done (3 weeks 6 days) can be normal. It starts off very low and doubles every second day or so in the first weeks. I didn't even get my HCG levels tested this pregnancy and my GP said that if there's a line on the HPT sticks, then you're pregnant. I know it's hard because it's so early and everything, but try to relax as stress isn't good.

    I found this for ya:

Week since last menstrual period began Amount of hCG in mIU/ml
3 weeks 5 - 50 (less than 5 means you are not pregnant)
    4 weeks 5 - 426
    5 weeks 19 - 7,340
    6 weeks 1,080 - 56,500
    7-8 weeks 7,650 - 229,000
    9-12 weeks 25,700 - 288,000

Good luck at your GP appointment today - I'm sure it'll go fine. BIG

    Thanks Pez..

The doctor on Tuesday said that if my hcg levels were less then 30 it would more than likely be a m/c..

I better go get ready need to leave in 20 mins..

    thanks..

Sometimes when you want something for so long/much you kind of have mind games..

Relax Eng, think of the people out there who never know their levels (I didn't). M/C's happen, it's sad and awful for those it happens to, but it's not in our control.....we are the mere incubators! Big Hugs and try not to think about it xx

:yeahthat: I never knew mine, not with T or this baby, I'm sure everything is AOK... It is completely normal to worry about m/c, but try not to stress, do your best to sit back and enjoy the preg journey.
    take care dear.

Your levels are well within range and look good. It really is too too early to read anything into them. You are pg and nature will take it's course from here no matter how much you worry or not. Best of luck and congratulations!
