    Toothpaste aversion

My apologies if this has been covered before, but has anyone got a problem with toothpaste while pregnant?

I have to be really quick while brushing or else I gag, and then when I'm finished I spend the next little while in the toilet dry retching (and occasionally vomiting - I am a very rare chucker!)

Has anyone had this problem and if so have you found a toothpaste that makes you less gaggy? I am 16 + weeks and have no morning sickness other than this.

    Thanks

Yep, yep! Brushing my teeth was a big trigger for gagging/vomiting. I used to do my teeth in the shower, as quick as poss and kind lean forward so excess toothpaste wasn't going near the back of my mouth.

I had this when I was pregnant too. I used to have to psych myself up to put my toothbrush in my mouth every day. I tried changing toothpaste and using less, even tried no toothpaste but it still made me sick.
