    Super-Dry Skin

My skin is soooo dry this winter. I think it must be pregnancy-related, because I'm not normally like this. I've got big red patches of dry skin on my legs! I'm moisturising & using Dove (rather than soap), but still very dry. Any other suggestions??

Ezz, I was the same, especially with my second pg as it was during winter. Moisturising frequently is probaby the best thing you can do. I was told to do it several times a day. Coconut butter also helped me a bit.

Spoke to Dr today & he said that I should start showering with sorbolene (instead of soap), so I'm going to give that a try.

Tell me about it! My hands are all cracked - I've been using QV and seems to be working a treat.

Handmade soaps are great for not drying out skin They have no drying chemicals in them, only natural oils. The more natural the product the better. I would also use a natural balm or cream after your shower too. Avoid any petrochemicals or ingredients that you can't pronounce! hehe. Some people find just rubbing plain ol' olive oil into their skin provides relief too.

You could also try MooGoo soaps and uddercream......they have a website you could google for. These products are also free of petrochemicals.
