Well I was hoping that I wouldn't have too much swelling in my feet and ankles, but seems that the hot weather in Melbourne is enough to push me over the edge. My ankles are all tight feeling and I had to move all the straps on my sandals out a hole this morning just to get them on. I don't think any of my other shoes would fit at all...
Anyone else finding the weather makes all this worse.
While I know it's fluid building up in my legs, I am assuming that drinking less won't help, and it is more important for me and baby to keep up the glasses of cold water. Right?
I've had the same problem too. My doctor told me to keep up the fluids as strangely enough this will help with the problem. Also to try to put your feet up when you can. I'm not sure what you do for work but I sit at a desk all day so I rest my feet on box to keep them elevated and this help. Also when you get home try to stay off your feet, it will help with the swelling as well. I found lying on the couch with my feel proped up on the arm rest perfect! They say to elevate them above your heart.
