I was reading in a mothering/parenting magazine today about the "Tummy Shield" that you can use when you're pregnant in the car.... more so when you're heavily pregnant I'd imagine..... curious as to how many people buy these?
I think it's a great idea, but are they popular? They are quite expensive.
I have always been aware of where the seatbelt lies across me underneath my tummy but yeah, I have often worried about if I was in an accident, how bub would cope....
I have one and have found it useful. It is also more comfortable having the belt away from your tummy (in my opinion). Now that we are done having kids, I will probably be selling it
How much would you sell it for? I see you aren't that far from me. I don't want to pay brand new price! This won't be our last baby so I'd use it this pregnancy and again....
I do find it uncomfortable at times with the seatbelt around me, cannot stand anything remotely close to my tummy!
Eta -just noticed you are due in May also....so you'll probably be using it right up until then right? I would be needing one soonish I guess!
I've been looking for one too and wondered the same thing. Currently I drive with the seatbelt pulled away from my belly and have to constantly pull it away i find it very uncomfortable. I get really paranoid about being hit up the rear and the strain it would cause on my belly.
I do agree they are exxy! But i guess for piece of mind why not - have you tried ebay?
