Third Trimester... when does it start...

Ok, totally confused... one book tells me it starts at 28 weeks, another at week 27... I just ordered a belly book/diary to keep record of my growing belly and thoughts for each day etc... and that book is from week 25!!!!!!

is it different from country to country? or does anyone actually know which week it is? I see here on BB it states 27 weeks in a forum but I wonder how it is worked out and how it can vary so much...

Well seeing as pregnancy is 40 weeks with 3 trimesters, each trimester would be 13 weeks. So trimester one would be 1-12 tri 2 13-26 and tri 3 27-40..

yeah that's how I worked it out, I was going to go with 27 regardless... its funny how books can say so many different things....

Yeah it's silly that different websites/books consider it different.. Would think it would be a universal thing
