hi my name is mandi, i had a boy in 02 he was born with a cleft lip and palate, i had a boy in 05 and he was fine, i had another boy in 06, i had no fluid around him when i was pregnant, he was born at 24weeks and he didnt live long after birth, i had another son in 07, had no fluid around him either, but made it to 27 weeks and hes now strong and healthy, but i am 18weeks pregnant today, i had an ultrasound last week that said i have lots of fluid around this one and that i was havin a girl, i had a second opinion ultrasound today and she said i was having a girl too, she said she didnt see a penis and showed me a straight line. i am still unconvinced and was wondering if maybe anyone could tell me the difference between boy and girl ultrasounds? i would love to have a little girl after having 4 boys, but am still worried the ultrasounds could be wrong and im gunna end up with a footy team, lol. i really would appreciate the help.....
I think if they can get a good look then they are pretty accurate! When do you have another scan? Perhaps wait till then to start buying the pink stuff!

They say there are three white lines with a girl. Having seen both on a scan I can assure you you would know if it was a boy (saw my nephew). But I understand. We had 4 scans with DD2 and each said girl, but I was still kind of unsure!! But after two scans, I'd say you're pretty right!! CONGRATS! xoxo
