I am constantly amazed that any of us are here!!!!

What I mean is how fantastic is it that we are able to conceive, grow inside us, birth and then nurture a whole new person???

I think about all the amazing things that have to happen in order for any of the parts of the process to work and I can hardly believe any of us have survived to be here now.

Firstly we have to conceive a baby. Now how many things have to go completely and absolutely right for that to happen???

Then there is the whole pregnancy thing. So many things could go wrong there too but amazingly so often it goes completely right.

So then you have a perfect little person ready to come into the world and they have to make it out safely. We know there can be tricky things there too but so often it goes right. Amazing!!!

There you have your little person, all grown perfectly and ready for the outside world.... and he/she has to survive that big wide world for years and years to be fully developed and grown. Avoiding all those nasy diseases out there and staying out of danger ( or at least surviving the bits we fall into).

How is it that there are so many people in the world? How did we all manage it??? It astounds me
