Well, I found out 3 days that I'm p/g with no.4...I assume I'm about 5-6 weeks along
Fri overnight I was a big crampy and then spotted yesterday and am still today...nothings coming out on a pad but I think it's because I"m going to the toilet fairly often! LOL!
I have a scan tomorrow afternoon but I'm not feeling very confident...
I guess I just want to know if anyone else has been through this and kept the baby or if they miscarried??
I felt nauseous the day I found out and haven't been too bad since which has me worried as well - although I have a rotten cold so just feel yucky anyway...
With all my pregnancies I have had cramping, this is fairly normal.
This one in particular I have had cramping and spotting in the early weeks (6 weeks and then 8 weeks) I thought I was going to lose the baby but she has held on.
Given how early it is you may or may not see anything on the scan either, again with this pregnancy we suspected blighted ovum at my 6 week scan and I went for another at 8 weeks after a second light spotting and we then saw a heartbeat
Its very very difficult but try not to worry, if you are Negative in your blood group be sure to mention that to your GP, don't assume they will check, you may need an anti d injection ... if your positive blood you won't need to worry about it.
Thanks NaeNae - I guess it worries me most as I never had this with my previous 3 p/g's....
I did have a 4 day implantation bleed with this p/g as well that I'd never had before either...so I thought it was af and had been on the mini-pill for 10 days after this thinking it was the start of my cycle...so many things I'd done wrong thinking it was the start of my cycle..
I know I shouldn't think like this but I really don't think it will be great news tomorrow - although of course I hope it is.
Kaz - Thanks - a very big surprise on Thursday - check out our april thread - I've been writing in there!!
Kris. It is so scary isn't it. I had cramping and bleeding with all of my pg's too. Up until about 10wks or so with both Lily and Liam's pg's. It is worrying but honestly there is nothing you can do. It's great you hae a scan tomorrow, though if You're only 5-6wks, you might not find out much, because bubs may not have a heartbeat yet anyway. I had this happen with Lily's pg. I had to end up having hcg monitoring as it was so early. It could still be implantation/settling bleeding. You are most likely still very early on in your pg. Good luck hun, I'm keeping everything crossed for you Rest up and take things easy.
I will just have to wait and see...bleeding seems to have settled a bit for the moment but cramps are still around...
I'm going to try and have a snooze now...
