    Very worried - please help!

    Hello everyone

My story has been a very stressful one..well, in the past 2 weeks anyway!

I saw my Ob at 8 weeks and he did a scan in his rooms. He didn't see anything other than a sac that measured around 7weeks maybe. He worked out I could possibly be 7weeks, as my dates aren't definate! But even at 7 weeks, I'd have seen something!

So I waited a week, now 9weeks by LMP or 8weeks by his dates. I had another ultrasound. This one found a baby, early umbilicus, yolk sac etc, but the baby only measured at about 6.5weeks without a hb. The sac measured more like 8 ish weeks.

The Sonographer said that it's normal at the sized the baby measured, to not see a hb just yet. The Ob on the other hand said they SHOULD have seen it!

So I wonder if there is any hope for this baby? I find it strange that so much happened in the space of a week! I have a tilted uterus and I've read that can greatly impact what is see and when, in early pregnancy.

Please let me know if you've heard or experienced anything similar.

Thank you kindly. You can imagine this is the most stressful couple of weeks ever! I have another scan scheduled for 10 days from now. I jsut don't know how I'll get through 10 days of worry!

I once heard a ladies story of how she had a tilted uterus & heart beat wasn't seen until much later than normal, but heart beat did eventually show up. I had never heard of it before which is why it stuck in my mind.
I hope all is well & you get some good news at your next scan. Please let us know.
