Ok, I'm confused.
Someone told me that under no circumstances should someone who is pregnant take a supplement with vitamin A in it, as it can cause birth abnormalities and defects.
Ok, cool, got that.
So I just googled it... and found out that betacarotene gets converted into vitamin A in the body.
Soooo, should my supplement not have betacarotene in it?
It does have it in it... should I stop taking it? I'm so confused by all the pregnancy supplements/vitamins, what they should and shouldn't have. The nurse at the clinic said they should all be fine, but i am wondering if they are.
I am not PG yet, first try TTC this cycle, so i bought the cheaper vitamins (just made sure it had enough folate). Should I switch to a more well known brand? I bought the cheaper one because I thought they'd just all be the same! Are the more expensive ones better?
Oh so confused! Anyone?
