So confused...please help

I have been on birth control pills(levlen ed) for 4 months, i just finished the box, for the last 2 weeks I have had thick brown discharge and then when I got my period it was light, inconsistant and only went for 3 days,
about 2 weeks ago I had severe back pains, at times I couldn't walk,
and recently I started getting pains in my lower abdomen to the left,
Could I be pregnant?

I think a visit to the GP is in order as well.

Did you miss any pills, take them at different times of the day or were you ill at any stage of the 4 months? (I think they are the main causes of pill pregnancies, but sometimes they are unexplained. And yes, they are possible.) I would be concerned because of your pain though. As the others have said, I think it'd be a good idea to get checked out regardless as that doesn't sound fun at all.
