What happened to the "trimester" forums?

When I was pregnant in 2007 - I loved accessing the "trimester" forums at each stage of my pregnancy. They were great coz you could always find interesting information, hints, advice that applied or were relevant to each stage of your pregnancy. What has happened to them?

Yes, the pregnancy trimester forums where it says "Please feel free to join a BellyBelly due date group at any time during your pregnancy or join in the general discussion forums relevant to your trimester below". It says there have been no posts for 90 days - is it bse people aren't using them anymore and just going straight to the "general discussion" forum?

Lilli, the trimester discussion areas are in the Belly Buddies area, not the general pregnancy area if that helps. Jodi and Teni's links will take you straight there though.

I found the forums under belly buddies but each forum says "no threads posted for 60/90 days" - it's disappointing that they are not frequented so much anymore. Although they are there there are no recent posts.

Lilli, for those forums you need to be signed in to see the threads. Were you signed in when you looked?

Oooh good thinking Mel. They definitely are there Lilli, so hopefully your issue is something as simple as you not being logged in at that stage.

ok - I wasn't logged in when I was looking at the "trimester forums" that must have been why I got the message "no posts in the last 90 days". Why do we have to log in to see these forums but not have to log in for the "pregnancy- general discussion" forums? Surely the topics discussed in the "trimester" forums are no more or less "sensitive" than in the "general discussion" ones?

PS I wish I knew the remedy was so simple - I could have been enjoying these forums from first trimester - no worries will know now for this trimester and maybe for #3

I'm just taking a guess, but it's possible it's because it's in the belly buddies area? The belly buddies area is set up for members to build supportive relationships, so I guess that people are quite personal in there and it protects our members a bit.
