I use normal powder - so much easier to wash everyone's things together and DS touches my clothes almost as much as his clothes, so a special powder seemed a bit silly to me.
i have sensitive skin but i use a normal powder biozet? with softener i figure if i am allergic to certain powders theres a chance bubs will be so i will just be washing in the same powder we use unless it seems to present a problem
Omo Sensitive or Bio Zet. DS has eczema and every time I have tried something else his eczema flares up again. You can't go wrong with using Omo Sensitive to be on the safe side until you work out how sensitive your baby's skin is - I used this exclusively up until very recently. And you can wash everyone's clothes in together with that stuff, no need for a separate load. I've never seen the point of separating out the baby's clothes, why create more work for myself?
I like Bio Zet because it has a nice non-overpowering fragrance, is often on special and you can buy it in bulk. I have only ever seen Omo Sensitive on special once and it doesn't come in those nice big bulk boxes so I was quite pleased when I found that DS' eczema wasn't aggravated by Bio Zet.
I personally didn't like the smell of Amolin and I'm paranoid about Amolin anything because the Amolin baby wipes gave him terrible nappy rash. And I prefer to use powder anyway.
Jackson does have slightly sensitive skin, I just wash all our clothes together with a sensitive detergent, and will do the same with Leo's.
Just a tip - if you have a frontloader is a good idea to use sensitive powder anyway as a high percentage of people have allergies to frontloader powder. I use OMO Matic sensitive.
