Question What would you put in a pregnancy care package?

Hi everyone, a friend is about 10 weeks pregnant and has been really sick, lost a lot of weight, can't keep anything down and has a huge 10cm/13cm cyst on her ovary so she is in heaps of pain too. I am going to put together a care package for her and would like your suggestions of what to include. So far I've thought of...

    ginger & lemon tea
ginger bear lollies and some barley sugar
    shortbread
    bath crystals
some nice scented face spray such as lavander or whatever I can find
    a gel eye mask
    Peppermint Foot massage cream

Mix tape (on CD obviously) I include one with every gift I give. They're pretty popular.

See if you can find preggie pops, BB used to have them when I was pregnant with Zander & they were awesome.

Wish I'd had a friend like you through my pregnancy!

Having thrown up my entire pregnancy I recommend some fruit tingles and green apples in that pack, only thing I ate for about 5 months! Maybe a soft heat pack/ wheat bag to warm up and help soothe some of the pain?

Also a pretty photo frame to put a ultrasound photo in to remind her every day that she is so sick for such a special reason.

    - A couple of really good dvd's to watch that are about pregnancy. Eg. Knocked Up, Father of the Bride part 2, Junior (especially if she is stuck at home being sick or not feeling well).
    - Preg mags (loved them)
    - Whatever she is craving!
-Something cute for the baby (like a blanket thats neautral) it will remind her of what she has to look frward to.

    You are a lovely friend

Just be careful of things with lavender and peppermint essential oils - sometimes these aren't suitable for use in pregnancy.

But what a lovely idea of a care package!!

I have a 'cuddle buddy' cushion that was really great when i was uncomfortable during pregnancy - I would sit it behind me on the couch and put it under my stomach in bed. It was also good for resting bub on for feeding once she arrived.
