When did you first get colostrum?

I'm so excited to find colostrum today . My boobs are working . We weren't sure how much milk could get through the scar tissue, but I know at least colostrum is getting through. That has to be good, right? Every drop counts.

When did you first see colostrum? 23 weeks for me.

I could lactate before I was pregnant. Not sure why, as all my hormone levels etc were normal, I put it down to my wanting a baby so much and working with babies and mummies every day.
I then got pregnant and stopped!!! for the first half of my pregnancy I never got a drop.
it started coming back about 22 weeks I think... was between 21 and 25 weeks. and has slowly been increasing, from just a drop or two when I actually express, to the day before yesterday I was in the bath just relaxing and looked down and noticed I was leaking =)

16 weeks here, although I suspect it was 14 weeks and I didn't notice it until 16.

14 weeks here. By 20 weeks I had to sleep on a towel, otherwise I'd wake up in a puddle of sticky goo.

I was really early this time - about 16 weeks. I remember having this weird damp sensation while we were away on holidays and noticed I had a wet patch!

DD1 I remember it being a lot later - more like 25 weeks or so.

DD2 I was in the process of stopping bfeeding DD1 when I fell pregnant so can't really remember what happened then.

With DD1, I don't really remember but sometime near the middle. With DD2, DD1 was still feeding so she let me know as soon as it changed which wasn't until a couple of weeks before DD2 was born. She didn't seem phased, just acknowledged it and the nappies confirmed it, they were the worst.

Sounds like a positive sign, hope it all goes well for you

I didn't have any with DD but I am hoping I get some this pg. My bbies are killing me atm & I am hoping I will start producing soon. Did you have to hand express at all or did it just 'flow' out?

Well I saw a few dry drops, so I hand expressed and I reckon I got a quarter teaspoon? Very exciting for me

    Maruschke, congratulations!

I'm also hoping that my boobs will not only produce something but it'll find a way out, too (after my massive breast reduction 22 years ago.)

I got mine around half way (not sure when exactly). Found spots in my bras for a few weeks until i finally clicked what it was!! Lol i'm a little slow. I weaned DS about two weeks ago and i think I still have milk from that - however it is a bit more difficult to get it out now than it used to be. So Im wondering if maybe it will just change to colostrum instead of disappearing altogether because they feel quite full still.
