When did you get stretchmarks?

I don't have any stretchmarks yet . Just wondering, if I was going to get them, when would they start to appear? Mum reckons that if I don't have them yet, that I won't get them. Is this true??? I still have 11 weeks of stretching ahead of me LOL.

Mine started at 35 weeks last time.

I only got one last time, on the underside of my belly and I didn't see it till I had deflated again... so I don't know when it got there!

I started getting stretchies from about 34 weeks with DS#1, I thought I'd gotten off, but nope, they came!

with DD1 I didn't get any till 40wks (she was born at 41wks!)

with DD2 I think they came at about 35/6 weeks

none for me but my girlfirend got hers at 38 weeks!!

At 28 weeks I thought I was doing really well too! PMSL, then I just popped majorly in the last fwe weeks and they were EVERYWHERE. I hope you escape them!!! But if you don't just think of them as your "map of motherhood", well, it makes me feel better about them anyway. That, and the fact that they do fade eventually. Mine are fading nicely, so theres still hope even if you do get them
