Where are all the nice baby names this year?

I have started looking for baby names and seriously - don't like anything so far. If I kinda like it, DH doesn't.

We have not had this prob before. Both kids had names before we even had their sex confirmed!

I have one name we both like but it is similiar to our deceased dog. He was called jake and we both like Jacob but both think of the dog everytime!

Anyone else struggling to find names???????????

    hey

Yes DP and I are in the same boat. I like one and DP doesn't or vice versa. We have agreed to one name for a girl and that will be Mia but thats all so far.

I have looked and re looked on the internet for baby names but there is none I seem to just fall for.

We struggled, I liked lots but DH didn't like many! When DS1 was born we had boys name set from 18 weeks and no girls name (discussing in labour) so lucky was a boy!!

DS2 we decided on both boy and girls names night before cs!!!!! (39+5 weeks oops)

I found writing a list (or in my case on iphone) and just regularly suggesting names to DH and if he says no way deleting it if not as convincing leave it and read it again a few days later to him!

DS1 is Jacob and DS2 Harrison

    Good luck

Yeah we always struggled with names - but eventually found one just before bubs was born. Except for DD2, she was going to be Airlea, but didn't look it when she came out!! So we called her Eden instead - took a while to find the right name for her though.

Feeb - Harrison was a name I suggested to DH as well as Nicolas. Both got the thumbs down but I ahve elft them on my list as I don't mind either of them.

I have loads of girls names but keep thinking / feeling boy blue and our eldest keeps saying it is a boy too!

Maybe we can call him (if it is) Sonny....

This arvo I am going to go back through alllllllllllll my school pics and check out names!
