Not sleeping, what's going on, i'm so tired!!!

    Hi Ladies,

I am sleeping about 30 - 45 mins at a time and it's only really a light sleep. I do this a few times a night but for the most part i'm awake all night.
I'm uncomfortable with pelvis & back pain so this isn't helping.
I'm so tired, walk around like a zombie but it comes to bedtime and I can't sleep, it's like my body is exhausted, I feel fuzzy but my mind is wide awake, grrrr it's so frustrating.

    Anyone else experienced this?
I've had 2 ppl tell me it's my body preparing for when bub comes and I get no sleep but I think when bub is here I might get at least 2 hr blocks of solid sleep.
I've tried winding down with quiet time before bed, pillows between my legs to ease pelvic pain, warm milk drinks etc
Hubby tells me to just rest if i'm not sleeping hehe but it's starting to drive me crazy, I gather I may as well get up and do something.
I still have to be up for work before six and get studies done as well so pleeeeeease help me, pleeeeease haha!!!

    Ok ranting over!

Eugh, I had this too. I found a homeopathic spray from my local health food shop worked for me, Brauer's Insomnia Relief, I think it was called. The skeptic in me wasn't sure if it was psychological, but I don't care, I slept, and that is the result I was looking for!

    hi Babyluv,
i am completely the same at the moment. i have not slept for the last 3 nights and even when i lay down during the day, as i am exhausted, still can't. i also think it has something to do with your body preparing for the birth and being up at all hours. it seems to happen around the 30 week mark. i remember having it with my daughter, but not this bad. i am having a boy this time, and everything has been worse! i also have really bad carpal tunnel. my hands seize up so bad at night i can't even use them. it is really painful. i also have puffy feet and saw hips from lying on my side!!
anyway, apart from that, this pregnancy thing is easy!!!
i am going to the health food shop tomorrow to get something natural for it?!! and may call up my acupuncture lady as well.....
    i'll try anything.
    goodluck with you sleep tonight!

    Still not sleeping

4 weeks of work to go, can't wait to finish!

Just trying to rest when I can, thanks for the advice ladies, will be off to the health food store on the weekend to check out some natural supplements, hopefully the brauers or magnesium might help.
