Wish I had gone with my gut instinct and booked my u/s later! I thought I was 6 weeks however my scan dates me at 5w3d. I know what day I implanted which does make me exactly the new dates. Anyway they found a sac, yolk and fetal pole but no heartbeat. The scanner told me that if I had come a few days later ere prob would have been one...I was going to book for Friday but like I said went against my better judgement! Anyway I have to have another scan in a few weeks...has anyone else experienced this? Just wanted to hear similar stories and know tht everything is likely to be ok?!
Friday you will be 6W0D? I personally would leave it til at least Monday... sometimes there isn't a hb at 6w even with perfectly healthy pregnancies. Hope the waiting isn't killing you.
I think I will leave it longer and aim more for 7 weeks. Don't want to risk going back and seeing nothing. They didn't seem worried and have lots on my plate so just trying to think about anything other than bubs atm to keep my mind off it!!
I had no heartbeat at 5w3d, the scan I had after that was I think 7w2d.. can't remember. But there was a heartbeat then radiologist and GP were not concerned that there was no HB at first scan, in fact the only reason I had it so early was to check for ectopic.
Thanks girls! I don't feel to worried and know its completely normal for how far along I am...I am more disappointed that I am no 6 weeks yet! For some reason getting to 6 weeks makes me feel I can breathe a little! Xo
I had a scan at around 5w3d, and I didnt even have a fetal pole, I just had a little sac where baby was, a week later I had a scan, and had a nice sack, fetal pole, and HB of around 150ish so it just may not have started beating yet
