    yogart while pregnant?

Can I eat yoghart when Im pregnant? I dont mean individual pots, but the family sized ones? I figured its safe if freshly opened but not sure if its still ok after its been half eaten and in the fridge a week?

I haven't ever read anything about yoghurt not being ok to eat whilst pregnant?

    Smile Yogurt is good

Yogurt is absolutely fine to eat when you are pregnant, in fact it is a very good snack!
As long as its within its use-by date it should be perfectly fine! Yogurt smells bad if it has gone off. Worst case scenario if you eat yogurt that has turned bad is that you will get an upset tummy but that wont hurt the baby :-)

Maybe I'm just fussy (?), but I wouldn't eat it after it's been open a week regardless of whether I'm pg or not. If it's really sitting there open that long would it be better to buy the smaller tubs?

I eat alot of yoghurt. Its good for thrush & thrush can love pregnant women.
Not sure it'd be ok after a week, but if it is ok, yoghurt is good for you to be eating

I'd imagine if it's been open for a week but still in it's use by date then it would be fine. The lids seal closed still... besides, who ever eats that much yoghurt in a day?

I love yoghurt and have cravings every now & then for plain greek style yoghurt. The fruitshop where I lives makes it fresh every day and packages it. The expiry date isn't as long as the ones from the supermarket, but yoghurt never lasts long in my home anyway!
