5 week hormones

Hi,

I am new to the forum. I am 5 weeks pregnant after an IVF + ICSI cycle. My HCG @ 5 weeks was 3000 and progesterone is 540. Does anyone know what the high progesterone is indicative of? I have mild OHSS.

my beta at 4-5 weeks was 958 i dont know what my prog was so i cant help with that one .but your levels are looking really good to me there sweety how many embies did you put in ?

THank you so much. We just had one put back as I am under 35 and fell preg on my 1st IVF cycle but miscarried so the chances of twins were higher for us. After waiting so long twins seem like a good idea but in reality i thought one would do for now

Just waiting for the scan to see if there is one there...or two! Just wish i knew what such a high prog meant. Guess i will need to be patient!

oh sweety i hope all is good at the scan i wish you all the best its a very freaky time ( i know 3 xivf later and i x fet lol and 2 ectopics omg the stress ) hang in there sweety and honest come and join us in that other thread were all ivfers and surely someone can help .

oh and i almost forgot DONT GOOGLE to much or you will do your head in lol.

Hi just popping in to add my tuppence. My progesterone was 340 at my first BT, and was in the 400s for my 3rd. . . hence I was shattered!!! I'm now almost 7 weeks, and still fatigued but not as bad.

My doc wasn't bothered about the high progesterone, just said it was a good thing cos it meant my body was doing everything to protect the wee one.
