How could I be so stupid and insensitive as to have posted about my BFP on Mother's Day?! What the heck was I thinking??
That's got to have been the worst day of the year (maybe aside from Christmas) for anyone who is TTC or LTTTC. And I go and put my 'happy' news up for all to see?
I'm really mad with myself and wish I could have done it differently. We never celebrate mother's day (or father's day) so I never even gave it a thought - it was just another sunday.
I'm an idiot, and I'm very very sorry to anyone whose feelings got hurt by me.
hun, i don't think anyone would hold it against you - you can't help when you got your BFP and you don't have to hide your happiness. you should know by now that many long termers will avoid the pregnancy announcments area anyway, and even if they don't, they know that the area will possibly make them sad - but for some, seeing fellow long termers get their BFP's can make the pain go away for just a little while... it gives them hope on the hard days (like mothers day) that all is not lost.
well, that's how i see it anyway! seeing PG announcements for long termers any time brings me joy after so much pain.
Lenny please dont be so hard on yourself, you are one of the most thoughtful people I know!!!
Honestly I didnt even twig that it was mothers day I was just so happy for you. Most people will be celebrating with you not worried about themselves.
As BG said it is inspirational to us LTTTCers.
