    Unhappy Low Hcg Early Pregnancy

I am a bit stressed and looking for some personal experiences or points of view...

after just doing a FET with IVF i had a positive blood test on 22 sept. the following friday my levels had risen nicely to 733, but last friday my levels were 3000. apparently this is lower than they 'would like'. so i was told i could have either a normal pregnancy with low levels or the baby has stopped developing and i will m/c.

im going for another follow up bloods on friday but am petrified.

has anybody else had low levels at about 6 weeks and still gone on to have a normal pregnancy?

and after researching they say levels can double anywhere from 24-72 hours. so confusing!

I know it must be so hard, sonya, when your results come back a little ambigious, but I have seen many women post on BB about low HCG levels who eventually did go on to have healthy pgs. And it hard to know based on comparing just your last two levels, so I know you're thinking of calling Concept to ask for another BT and I think that's a great idea. Please let us know how you go with that. You should still be able to get in today if you ring them right now.

    Hi Sonya
Hang in there hun...it's so hard...step by step...I'm praying that all will be ok. After 5 weeks hcg levels don't always stick to the doubling rule and ultrasound is preferred. Do you have a scan scheduled? I have my first scan at 5.5weeks to rule out ectopic so they can definately scan you at 6 weeks no worries...will be here waiting for good news...or to keep you company...whatever you need xxx

thanks girls. left a message with the clinic and just received a call back. im going in for bloods tomorrow as i just want to know one way or the either, so i know whether to start greiving or just focus on a healthy bub. so two very different extremes. eres hoping levels have risen dramatically or at least a booking for a scan. will keep you posted tomorrow arvo when i know more...
