Saph good there is a reason, that's my motto anything is barable with a cause. Glad your bub is H & H
Thanks Murph and MHB - I do think the only reason I wanted it was for more photos and am now happy to skip them all together. I will trust the universe will bring us the baby we aren't ment to have.
Playing on my new pc is awsome love DP he is suck a sneek but very thoughtful.
Oh Saph, Congratulations, I am so happy for you . What a relief, I hope you can relax now and enjoy. Looking forward to watching how your pregnancy progresses. Happy days! xx
Yay saph on your scan results. I think we all worry ourselves sick, especially during the early weeks as we have gone through so much to get to where we all are.
MHB: Oh no, poor you. Hope you are able to take it easy for a while now. I think your little boy is going to be a terror for you when he arrives if this pregnancy is anything to go by.
Greenslw: You are the best one to make the decision about the Downs testing etc and as you were really only hoping to catch a glimpse of your little one anyway maybe your OB can do a referral for a growth scan only and not include the Nuchal Testing.
Murph: So good to hear that Jazzy is now a little dancer in mummy's tummy.
AFM: Bubs is going through her weekly growth spurt. I generally have a couple of days every week where she is quieter with her movements than normal and I think this is when she decides it's time to grow some more. Am having really bad stretching pains today though, like a really bad stich that won't go away and when I walk around I have to hold the bottom of my bump to help relieve the stretching and pulling pains. AHHHH.... I have to also go clothes shopping today, we have a funeral tomorrow for a friends father who passed away suddenly on the weekend and I don't think my comfy stretchy pants are really appropriate to wear, so off to the shops to hopefully find a dress (normal size) that is in a stretchy material that will fit around my bump and that I will be able to wear after she arrives as well.
Thanks everyone I am feeling much more relaxed now. Even going to put our pram on layby as it is more than $100 off in the sale and it finished this weekend. I think in th end with the toddler seat we will save $200. That is too much to pass up on.
This place is exploding with twinsSaph, I'm so happy for you. Happy day I got your news last night after work but tried not to get worked up after midnight so just had a smile to myself instead. Exciting savings on your pram too. Yay!
Gotta go, Dad's about to arrive. My first visitor in over 6 months...yay. and he is bringing the first of my baby loot from the southern rellies. Woohoo.
Greeenslw, good advice form KellyD...oh how I wish that's what I did. I have nightmares just hearing the words nuchal screen and I have thrown out all evidence that it ever happened. Good luck whatever you decide mate.
Hi lovely ladies,
Sorry I have been MIA but just got back from sunny Darwin and it has taken me a couple of days to catch up on everyones progress.
Saph those are fantastic numbers now try and enjoy your pregnancy now.
KellyD I am going through the samething with the stretching pains on my leftside and around my rib cage as well but I do the samething as you and lift up my tummy for some support and I am only half way there imagine when I get closer to the end OMG isn't it amazing what our bodies can do.
MissMagpie thats great your scan went well you are one of the very few that has not found out the sex of your bub. Way to go on the purchase of 2 cots. I think I should start looking around now so stop hogging the cots on ebay . Im glad to hear your pregnancy is on track and your travelling well. Hopefully you will feel those little kicks soon its a great feeling.
MHB so sorry to hear about your scary time your having. I also ended up in the bloody delivery suit on sunday I had bad pain on my left side and I was thinking if I hear some poor lady screaming in pain I would walk out I felt I shouldn't be hear anyway we are not sure what was wronge but the pain went away after 5 hours. It must be something they do when your past 20 wks and having trouble because they told me I qualify for a delivery suit when I called?????
Greenslw I totally agree with murph its a personal decision.
BDT 2 beautiful heart beats isn't it a great thing to hear can't wait to hear about your 12 wks scan you will get blown away.
Murph its nice to have visitors it changes your routine abit you have to tell us what you got from your rallies.
AFM I had a scan this morning and the bubs are doing well not much change from last week which is a good thing to see they are growing nicely I still have to have weekly scans just to check their fluid but other then that travelling along nicely. Feeling heaps of movements and kick from 4 legs and arms it feels so surreal.
oooh Kahlan I hope everything is going well with you one of the other twin mummies in the twin thread is going through the same thing she went to her OB appt yesterday and was told she was 2 cm dilated imagine that.
sorry if I have missed anyone but it feels like I have been typing for hours.

Hi all. This is my first time posting on this sight, omg!
I am now 7 weeks and about five days pregnant. After about three years of TTC we got lucky on our 2nd attempt at ivf, FET # 1.
We replaced 2, 3day embies and find out on Wednesday 15th July if we are pregnant with 1 or 2? omg! At first i was terrified that the initial scan would show something terribly wrong, or that i wouldn't be pregnant at all! Crazy?
Now i'm so sick with nausea all day, that there is no doubt in my mind that i am absolutely pregnant. Wednesday will tell us more, how scary and exciting all at once.
Seph, we are very close in our due dates. I remember reading all about your struggle to concieve on a ltttc thread. I held my breath for you and am so glad to see you here now.
It's taken me a while to join in as it's taken a while for all of this to sink in.
let the roller coaster begin! don't worry you are ging to stress this first trimester, it's a inevitable and you can't really stop it! but do try to enjoy this moment for yourself after so long.
good luck with your scan on Wednesday --- i cried when i saw ours. It's the only time i really cried at the doctors, and it takes forever to sink in.
even now i'm still saying to DH "oh my god, we're having a baby, I cna't believe it''... lol.
hi azz - oh darwin sounds sooo nice on this frosty morning!
Wave girls I remember you to. so glad you have made it here, everyone is wonderfully supportive as I have been through hell emotionally in my first eight weeks. My due date is a compromise between us and the clinic. We counted from the time I felt the follicle go and they counted from trigger so we went in between. Hopefully it will come early anyway my DS did. Pregnant over summer wont that be fun.
I have to tell you out there if there are any other scrapbooking nerds, Huge one here. I found a poem sticker called your heartbeat and it is about hearing/seeing your babies heart beat for the first time. I have already done a page with our babies first pictures. Sad I know but it could be worse I could be drinking or smoking or other things to occupie my time. At least I get a pretty picture at the end.lol
Well off to do the groccery shopping and then to put our new pram on layby and then to lunch with the girls from work we are all on holidays but we go out for lunch every friday.
hi everyone,
hoping you all have great weekends.
i've just realised that tomorrow is my "50 days to go" milestone, yee-ha!!
(still dying to hear kahlan's baby news!)
mels xx
Well for the news you've all been dying for... well at least I have. My pram arrived. It's gorgeous! Even prettier in real life and so easy to put together and use. DH surprised himself with how excited he was and put it together in seconds, drove it around and can't wait to fill it and steal it off me for lots of long walks. How funny. The colour by the way is the prettiest aqua/teal and just perfect. the whole pram is just quality and finished with every touch. The so called foot muff is a full body big luxurious sleeping bag...I could go on. A very happy customer.
Suddenly our house has gone from no sign of babies to now after Dad's visit, nowhere to hide that we are expecting. Our house is so small and OMG, I told my sister to load Dad up only with clothes and stuff to suit 0-6 months. I started inventorising the 5 vacuum sealed bags of clothes and at last count had had 48 size 000 body suits, 27 singlets, booties, mittens, hats. The list goes on, shoes, socks all in perfect condition. we literally will never have to buy Jasmine anything but nappies. My sister is a huge shop-a-holic and like I said this is only the stuff for the early months. She has a storage lock up that I am going to raid in Townsville next month (since she couldn't get much together at short notice...mmm apparently!!!). Dad also brought up baby change and bath table which is excellent and more cool toys so the house is getting to be a little home for Jazzy.
By the way, welcome Wavegirl, sorry I'm a bit excitable ATM. Hope you get to knowing the feeling really soon too.Good luck with your morning sickness
