RARA - i hope you can come off them soon too, my progesterone was only 25 at 6 weeks but my GP denied me any supplements, im still here at 9 weeks preg so i guess all must be ok, i do worry sometimes though.
AFM - still sick whats new! but today hasnt been so bad after not making it to the bathroom in time this morning and having to scrub stomach acid off my feet ive just felt slight nausea all day and managed to keep down some crackers and noodles! YAY! but i am missing food soooo bad! i want to cook my DF dinner the poor thing but i cant! also still cant get a scan as i wont be able to keep the water down so will wait until 12 weeks.
TL- exciting news having a date!
Janie- exciting to be on the countdown now!
hope everyone else is doing OK. Even though I am technically back out of this thread, I'll be checking in on you
afm- back to work tomorrow and really dreading it. Facing the real world and real things is scary
Hey Ladies, too hard to try and catch up tonight so just a quick one from me.
TL, that is the cutest photo of your Belly and Miss C, and congrats on firming up your delivery date
Possum, best of luck for you tomorrow IRL. Thinking of you and hope you are back here soon
JBM, best of luck for your March FET not too far away at all.
Nic, time fly's when you?re having fun hey...congrats on hitting 88 days to go and counting!!
Janie, only 24 more days to go...very exciting and then it will be your little ones turn to make an appearance.
:bellyrubs: :bellyrubs: to Mon, 21, Rara, Mels, Bel, Alloy, Kaydee, FG and anyone else I missed.
AFM, 24 weeks tomorrow  and have been feeling really well probably cause this little one has very active times during the day.
Not much else have itchy BB again  and nothing really seems to help.
Oh well price of pregnancy and a stretching body.
Thanks for the support everyone. I'll keep checking in on you all and wish you the best, but I need to step out of this thread. :grouphug:
Hi ladies
Sorry I have been MIA - now am trying to quickly catch up on you all.
Bel - what wonderful news - one of each - how blessed you are!
TL - how exciting to have an actual date. For the control freaks (I'm one of them) that would make planning so much easier... I am no good at waiting at all! I guess this is another thing that motherhood will teach me!
Janie - how exciting to be on the countdown to maternity leave! It just seems like forever away for me!
Nic - hope your itching settles down - ouch!
Nixon - wow! Down to double digits - what a great milestone! Hope your doing well!
BG, FG and all the other Vic ladies - hope you escaped unscathed from the bushfires - how devastating - I haven't been able to watch the news for days now as I end up in a ball of tears - not good for already emotional pg people!
AFM - we got our 12wk test results back. Not good or bad just 'grey' as my OB put it. So based on my age, unfortunately we're having an amnio on 23rd. I am very scared in my heart but my head says we need to do this. Which means I have only 6 more days at work, then have the amnio followed by lots of bedrest. At the end of that week we fly to Melbourne for our wedding and then off to Malaysia via HK for our honeymoon. Having the amnio at that time means we will likely be a bit distracted from the wedding/honeymoon but DF is so super positive that there will be no problems I am hoping he can keep my spirits up. At least we will know the sex before the 20wk scan! Anyway, am feeling less pg these last few days. Not needing to eat constantly to stop from throwing up and sore BBs have settled down. I hope everything is ok!
:hello: and :bellyrubs: to everyone I've missed.
xx
PS Gizmo measured 13wks 1 days at 12wks - yikes! :o
Hey Chez - Good luck with the Amnio. I hope it all turns out as you wish. Don't worry about the eating thing. I don't eat half as much as I did in the first tri and there are mornings when I wake up and don't feel pregnant. If I am comfortable enough and baby is not awake yet I can lie there and think I would honestly believe it was all a dream.....until I try and roll over...then I have to actually sit up first, turn on my side and then lie down again.
To everyone else, sorry no personals for ages. I've been so caught up in work and the house reno that I just can find the time or energy to type (plus I work at a computer all day and the thought of it at night just kills me). But I am reading everyday and wishing the best to anyone who lives in or near the bushfire zones or knows people who do.
My DH is off to Japan tomorrow for 2 weeks snowboarding. His last free pass. I'm glad he is going. I know he is so excited, but so torn about leaving us. He has been so good and kind and understanding ever since the IVF started and I'm glad I can give him this as a thank you.
Take care girls and big belly rubs
x
Chez :goodluck: with the amnio
Nixon  hope you don't miss DH too much :)
:bellyrubs: for everyone else I have bad pg brain today I think
AFM: My boss is finishing me up 2 weeks earlier than expected which is a bummber beacuse the extra $$$ would have been nice. I feel a bit pushed out but hey what can you do. Hopefully I can fill a few more roles over the next 2 weeks and line up some great commissions before I leave :) Charlotte has the nic name of Missy Moo which I am not sure DH is keen on. Well in 7 weeks my girl will be here and I hopefully will be coming home today or tommorrow on the countdown now :)
hi ladies
just popping in to say hi!
not much new here except my MS has eased off a bit i havent vomited in 3 days but been very close! i still have nausea but the actual stomach aches have stopped but the headaches still remain, im nervous something may have happened to bubs because the MS eased, i know this happened to possums. my uterus feels "tight" sort of full i guess which i hope is a good sign! also no spotting since week 6 which is good so i have def put it down to DTD which hasnt been danced for 3 weeks haha! yucky and rainy here today!
sorry not much more to say and everyone seems to be going well so im pleased
hi girls
Just a quickie from me before wrapping up the end of the week. Had some good luck shine on me today - I won a raffle! Hoping that the good luck continues for my 12 wk scan on Tuesday. Was also nice to see that I passed the 200 day mark :D
Chez - good luck with your amnio. You really sound positive, so I'm going to stay positive for you too.
Nixon - hope you're not too lonely without DH
Tigger - 7 weeks is not long at all....so exciting!
21 - glad you're feeling better.
:hello: to everyone I've missed.
Mels x
mels - hope u have a great time at your scan!
afm - spoke too soon! just lost the bunch of grapes i ate for lunch! ahhh when will this end!
Hi lovely girls
I made it!!!!!! after 3.5 years I was almost ready to give up, I am so happy to be here. I need to read up on you all before I get into the personals
Feeling fine so far, very very tired, a few twingy feelins in general uterus area, but I"m sure it's okay
Love to all
Nep/Sue
Welcome and a huge Congrats Neptune!!
don't fret about personals too much - i think we're all a little overwhelmed about the number of people in here (which is fantastic!) and the journey we're on. i tend to read and just comment if i can answer a question for someone.
:cheer: and :welcome: Neptune
Congratulations and Welcome Neptune!! :happyforyou:
Congrats Neptune :happyforyou: great to see you in here :bellyrubs: :bellyrubs:
YAY neptune you are here with me well US now!
im so happy!!!!
Hello all,
Finally able to find some time to drop in and actually type something!
Welcome neptune . Not sure if this helps, but I tend to think of BB as one of my best friends, the ones that you can not speak to for 6 months, then ring out of the blue and chat like you saw them for coffee yesterday...my friends and I call them 'no guilt' friendships. Its taken me a while but now I have a 'no guilt' friendship with BB - personals when I can, but like everyone else who is busy, I now no longer feel guilty when I cant, or dont do them
Thanks to everyone for your well wishes during the fires - that is part of the reason for being MIA - not that we were burnt. Fires started about 4km from where we live, about 2km from our farm. FIL was out on the tankers (MIL in Melb) and so DH and I were looking after two houses. A couple of times the heat go to me when I was outside all dressed up in protective clothing, and I was coming inside, striping off and putting on a wet sarong -- not pretty! Anyway were were very lucky and fire stayed away from us, but it was a stressful weekend with little sleep had. DH is now working fire recovery which is very stressful - helping assess how much fenching, housing, stock etc has been lost or needs to be destroyed, and helping find feed for stock etc. With that and work, I have been exahusted and only just getting back to normal today. I hope that everyone else is ok.
Not much to report here - had 12 week scan on Monday, which was at 13wks really. All was fine and Tex measured right on 13wks - this is going to be one baby that only ever gets 50% on tests as he never under or over ahieves in terms of growth rate!
We told all the family after the scan, and the remaining friends who I had not told under strick instructions of secrecy or who had not guessed - so it is now out in the open, which is nice -kind of makes it more real but I still keep thinking that someone is going to challenge me that I'm really not pg (apart from my growing belly) - DH has to keep reminding me that we have the pictures to prove we are having a baby
Mels - good luck with the upcoming scan
TL - how exciting to know the date that your little princess will come into the world!
Bels - congrats on your little prince and princess!
21 - glad to see that you are still hanging in there - come on 12 weeks!
Chez - I'm sure that all will be fine with the amino - good luck
Possums - you do belong in this thread - you will be here soon for a prelonged 9month stay - take care
To everyone else :hello: and goodbye, stay H&H
FG
Hi Ladies
FG and our other rural friends, I hope and pray that you and your families are safe from the fires. Every affected are in our thoughts every day.
Neptune -welcome and congratulations !! Wishing all the best for a happy and healthy 9 months.
TL - LOVE the belly shot, that is just beautiful and very creative :)
BG, Bel, Kahlan, Nicole, Nixon, Chez, Mel77, 21, Alloy and all the other wonderful ladies, :bellyrubs: to you all and hope you are enjoying the weekend.
AFM - started to feel baby move about 10 days ago. What a feeling, truely defies description! It has been a bit sporadic but seems to be starting to be a bit more consistent in what I can feel, makes me smile every time.
Take care everyone,
LNB
Melbourne ladies....
Any advice on where to go for nursery furniture, prams, car seats etc? We have started shopping but have found such a wide variety in prices that I'm not sure where the best place to go is.
Any suggestions would be appreciated :)
Thanks,
LNB
Hey ladies :hello:
FG, wow sounds like things got a little too close for you and am glad to hear you guys are all alright. Congrats on your 13 week scan!!
BTW love the new Avi
LNB, it is truly a great feeling when you finally do feel that little one.
June Bug started at around 20 weeks and the kicks have been getting stronger for the past couple of weeks.
AFM, had a very active baby yesterday afternoon and last night, but I think someone must be catching a few :asleep: today, but am sure after a yummy roast someone will get busy again.
Anyway speaking of roast betta put in the oven.
Hi All!
LNB - I went to Baby Bunting in Oakleigh. They offer 3 month layby and also will negotiate discounts with you once you spend over $500. You also get a VIP card for future purchases that offers a 5% discount. That is where we bought all our stuff and we saved quite a bit of money. Great that you have started to feel movement.
Nicole - great to hear bubs is so active. Mine still has up and down times... I guess they start having almost a sleep pattern.
FG - so happy to hear that you are okay.
Neptune - huge congratulations and welcome!
Chez - GL with the amnio - I am sure all will be okay.
Hi to 21, Alloy, TL, BG, Mels, Nixon and everyone else I have missed.
AFM - had 34 week scan and check up today. All is perfect... measuring within 1 day of due date. Estimated weight at the moment is 2.222kg or 4lb 14oz. OB estimates that weight at birth will be around 7lb 4oz which is very average - not too small not too large. HB is perfect which he estimated at 174bpm (not sure if that points to a boy or a girl - perhaps someone knows), but then when I looked at the screen again it was varying from around 137bpm - so I am a little confused. Blood flow to the umbilical cord is perfect and there is a good amount of amniotic fluid. So all in all it points to a healthy baby. Have booked in now for all the rest of my OB appointments. Next one is 36 weeks (2 weeks time) and then I am on weekly appointments after that. So really on the home straight now!
Hope all are well.
Janie xxx
hi ladies
just a very quick one from me as I'm v busy today :D
Neptune - welcome! and congratulations!!
Farm girl - glad you're safe & sound. Congrats on the scan.
Janie - not long to go now...!!
Nicole - hope you're well.
LNB - can't help with your question, maybe in a few months time! ;)
hi to TL, Nixon, BG, Bel, 21, Chez and everyone I've forgotten.
Well, I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow. I'm so nervous, I've been having heart palpatations all the time. I also had a really horrible dream last night, that woke me up and felt so real (I won't explain...too awful). I really just pray that everything goes ok tomorrow. It is so hard since I've been feeling a lot less "pregnant" lately. Well, at least I'm on the countdown now - and I have a very busy day ahead to keep my mind off it. Hope you all had lovely weekends.
Mels xx
Mels  goodluck for the scan sweetie
Best of luck tomorrow Mel, nerves are very common I get them every time I see the OB

Hi Ladies -
Mels77 - good luck for your scan tomorrow, nerves are normal but will be thinking of you tomorrow. I cried all the way through way my 12 week scan :)
Janie - thanks for the advice on Baby Bunting - great to know about the discount and vouchers. I think we will get out there on Saturday.
Big :bellyrubs: to everyone .
Take care everyone,
LNB
Hi lovely girls
Hope you are all faring well.
I'm fine...except....and I don't like to complain, but I am so constipated it's not funny . I started taking Elevit a week ago, and I think the iron in there has bound me up!!!!! Can I take metamucil? I'm eating heaps of fruit and veg, water and exercising to no avail.
Any help would be .... ahem.... satisfying.
Neptune - I have had the same issue for the last 20 weeks....
I was told not to take metamucil but to find a natural solution. Everyone is different but I found that dried apricots ( about 8 - 10 a day) plus unsalted cashews ( 3 - 4 handfuls a day) helped. Have the apricots and cashews about 4 - 6 hours apart everyday and you might get some relief. Drink plenty of water and take comfort in the fact that it is one of the most common (and grossest) signs of a healthy pg :)
Take care,
LNB
Neptune - I too suffered considerably in the first tri. I mean badly suffered. For someone who was regular several times a day to once every 2 - 3rd day (if I was lucky).
I found dried prunes (around 6 of them - first thing in the morning) or prune juice first thing in the morning, dried apricots & 2 litres of water (minimum) a day helped a bit.
I think the cause is the hormones your body is now creating to support your baby - some iron tablets are known to make it worse, but I don't think Elevit is the main culprit.
X
Hello Everyone
I just wanted to drop in and say :hello: to everyone and to meet up again with some old faces that I went through previous cycles with who have been in here for a while.
Well, finally I got my BFP yesterday but feel a bit of a fraud being here so soon. But I really wanted to drop by and feel like one of the pg girls.
My HCG at the BT yesterday was 305 and I am booked in for my scan on the 11th March to check for h/b and to see if we have 1 or 2 joining us, so I will probably lay low for a little while (or until some symptoms arise that I need to vent about). But I want to send my best wishes to everyone who is here and I'm looking forward to sharing my journey with you all.
KellyD :cheer: yay so happy and excited for you :) and happy to have you here
Neptune - I was told metimucil occasionally was ok but apricots were my best friend
:bellyrubs: to everyone well it is 1 week and 4 days till I finish work
Hi everyone
Thanks for your well wishes yesterday - had my scan this morning and everything is great and we have a very low d/s risk. It was the most amazing experience. Little bub was swooshing around and kicking legs and drinking (!). Just spectacular.
Thanks again to you all - I'm on cloud 9 today :D
Mels xx
ps - Kelly welcome and congrats! I followed your progress in the TWW thread. So exciting.
Fantasic news Mel :happyforyou:
Kelly, welcome and congrats on your BFP
:bellyrubs: to all you other lovely ladies
Excellent news Mel. :)
Welcome Neptune and Kelly :D
Off to the physio at the hospital this afternoon to deal with my back and pelvic pain which has been giving me a bit of grief over the last week. Other than that, Buddy is now lodging his feet under my ribs and I feel like I have a constant stitch in my side! I guess I am now really starting to experience the uncomfortable stage of pregnancy now!
Mel that is great nes :) :cheer:
Lol Megan Miss C fav spot now she has truned is back up under the rig cage :)
TL, is she on one side most of the time as well? DH commented on how lopsided my belly is this week because I have a big lump on the right side!
Yep she loves the right side
We saw a had today it was soo cool :)
