Arielle I'm sending you lots of gentle labor vibes hun.I'm sure it won't be too long and you'll be holding your gorgeous little bundle in your arms.
Nic How are you doing? What date is your C/S booked?
BW Good on your OB for booking you in for 2 scans.I found it was the frequent scans that kept me as sane as posible during my pregnancy lol.
Monnie you are such a sweet woman.I'm pleased that you keep popping in lol.I have to admit that I'm addicted too :cryinglaugh:
We are doing well.Sage isn't sleeping too much but I'm used to that now lol even though I look and feel like I've been hit by a bus lol he's certainly worth it though.
I absolutely love being his mummy.I often think how lucky DH and I are even after the long and bumpy ride we had getting to this stage to have a beautiful baby in our lives.
Oh and how fast does the time go and they grow soooooooo fast. Sage will be 8 months old on Monday.
I hope you are all well and can't wait to see some B/A's very soon.

Hello everyone
I have not posted in here in a long time. After I got my BFP, I also got a little paranoid, and was afraid to post or speak about my pregnancy. But we got there in the end and I had a little boy on March 18th. He is the joy of my life. :)
I wish everyone here the best and hope you all have happy and healthy pregnancies. And when you get that little bundle into your arms at last, well, it is worth everything that you go through when you're TTC.
love smegs x

Oh wow Mako, can't believe that Sage is already 8 months old!! My c/s is booked june 30, only 8 sleeps to go (if I ever get some sleep tonight that is!)
Arielle, hope all is well your way, I will have to check out the BA thread to see if there has been any news since your post :)
Well, DH finally finished bubs room! We painted some clouds on the walls (after a huge argument) and have put up the curtains on one window, with me having to track down some more supplies to hang up the 2nd set of curtains. Cot went up tonight, just have to bring home the mattress, and the change centre/bath got put together as well, with me supervising DD packing if full of goodies. Just have to pack some clothes into the drawers and it should be all done. Setting it all up today, made if feel real, which is something I think I've been missing. All of a sudden I'm kind of starting to feel a little calmer about the c/s, which is nice also. Hope it stays that way LOL!
Ok, off to check out the rest of the forum and then hopefully off to bed for some well deserved rest

CONGRATULATIONS Smegs! That's such great news, and very inspiring for me to hear right now @ 4 days past my due date. Thanks for sharing! I wish you all the best in the future!
Nic - glad to hear reality is hitting. That's when it starts to get very exciting and scarey all rolled into one. Thanks heaps for your kind words in my blog. You and all the wonderful other chickies have helped me keep sane!
BW, Shannon & everyone else - how are you travelling?
Mako - thanks for the gentle LV's! I need all I can get right now.
STILL nothing happening at all!! Ob moved things around a bit yesterday (I am assuming it was a S&S), and I had a bit of bloody discharge happening. He also said my cervix is nice and thin, and I'm 1.5cm dilated, so I was sure we were going to get some movement at the stations very soon. NO SUCH LUCK!! Looks like bub is trying to teach Mum a very valuable lesson about patience. Something I've always been hopeless at. LOL!! Atleast we know that we'll have bub by Tuesday next week at the latest, as we're booked in for induction that day if nothing has happened. The bonus there would be that it's July 1st. Something, I'm not overly fussed about, but hey, would be nice for a little extra cashish all the same.
Hope to be back with some good news soon. I'm off to see the accupuncturist.

hi everyone, wow arielle 4 days over already...im so sorry for being slack. I have been popping in but Emma pipes up everytime I try to type and she is a "hold-me-constantly-mummy-nevermind-the-rest-of -the-world" baby. So i am doing my best.
I will say this, prepare for the worst or however long they will leave you, then anything else is a bonus...remember emma was 11 days overdue and even then she didnt want to come.
I cant believe you and nic are nearly there, my how the time has flown....but Emma is a month this week can you believe it!! good luck with the labours ladies...remember its like doing a big poo (lol how romantic!!)
And congrats to all the newbies, this thread was looking a little desparate a while back.
Wow mako, sage must be massive now, we are still in 0000 and 3/4 of what we have is 000 and above so she is getting swamped...8 months already seems like only yesterday.
Belly and baby rubs Lis and Emma xx

Have been sadly neglectful of this thread lately... but the reason for the insane tiredness became clear yesterday. I'm severely anemic! Have started on iron tablets and hoping for an improvement soon. I'm sick of sitting around feeling breathless, tired and dizzy!
We had another scan today... and our baby is now person-shaped! We got to see it move... all curled up in a tiny ball as though it was trying to sleep! Measured a little bit behind dates, but they tell me that's nothing to worry about, as long as it's within a week. Heart rate was 160bpm... seems incredibly fast!
Off to rest some more...

BW, so happy to hear about your scan yesterday, and awww at how cute that you got to see bub moving and that it has a person shape...
Not much happening here. feet are still swollen, we leave tonight for our appointment tomorrow and I am staying with my parents until we go to hospital on monday morning. Got our paperwork from the anaesthetist this morning, with his estimate of fees...OMG!! maybe I should just take the quote in with me and look at it to knock me out instead of him lol. I had a cry after reading it all, still absolutely terrified of the whole needle in my back and hand thing. DD informs me that if she can be brave when she gets cuts and scratches and bleeding and bruises, then I can be brave too! I'm just going to have to remember her sweet words of encouragement when the time comes.
anyway, will try to drop back in quickly before leaving tonight. If not, will catch up with you all when we get home, and Arielle, I will have you in my thoughts as well, and can't wait to catch up on your news about LS :)

Sorry for barging in here  but I was just stalking BW to hear the latest. Now I can rest easy knowing that all is well! I got a bit worried when your journal stalled around June 7th. Now I can see why... hope your iron levels rise and that you feel better soon BW!
-
Sorry, Bath. I figure you're not the only one, so I'll post an update shortly. Each day is a little better than the one before, but there's still a long way to go before I'm feeling completely normal again.
Nic, good luck. I'll be waiting to hear how things go, and praying that the needles don't freak you out too much.
Arielle... any action yet?

Not long now Arielle! four days? phwa, that's nothing, hey Lis?
But seriously, sounds like you are very very ready to go any moment now - i was nowhere near that ready at 14 days over!! hope you're resting up for the challenges ahead ;)
Hope you're feeling better soon BW - low iron's the last thing you need, hey?
Your daughter is so sweet Nic - it's good advice
Aric was well out of 0000's by the time he was a month old - he's in 00's now. He's talking to the lights and toys on his vibrating rocker at the moment. It makes music and flashes lights when he kicks the sensor pads near his feet - a great investment for the little ones, i highly recommend it.
And congrats to smegs - well done
-
That's cool BW  going to check out your journal now... love your new ticker too! :D
-
Hey guys
Arielle...how you doing? Hope all is going well...
Nic...you'll be fine! I can totally relate...I remember feeling the same about my c/s...but the staff were amazing and really helped to alleviate my fears. Just focus on why you're there...keep thinking about how soon you will be holding your little one...it really is within minutes of having the needles!
You'll be a champion!!!
BW...hope the iron tablets kick in quickly! You poor thing! So exciting about your scan! Gorgeous!
Hey...did you guys see KTgirl's birth announcement...her twins have arrived! How wonderful!
Hope everyone else is doing well...mums-to-be, mums-about-bursting and mums-to-bubs!!!
-
Just wanted to finally say "helloo" as have been reading this thread for some time, but have been too tired to write anything... Hope you all are doing well today :)
-
Just popping in to check up on Arielle. Any news hun. Hopefully you're holding your precious bubba in your arms now.
Nic All the very best for Monday. Not long now hun and you'll be holding your gorgeous boy in your arms too.
Hi to you all :D
-
Sorry ladies! No news yet.
We've had 4 accupuncture sessions so far, and I think (?) todays may have helped somewhat. Have had some decent period-like aching going on, stronger BH's, with some lower back pain thrown in. Also (TMI warning) some old blood coloured discharge (sorta mucousy). Nice!! I hope this is the beginning?? Don't want to get too excited just yet.
BW- so nice to see you've got a ticker. Hope those iron levels pick up soon. I've had trouble with mine too, and know how crp it can make you feel.
Nic - if I don't touch base with you beforehand. BEST of luck for Monday. I wonder who will be first? I look forward to hearing from you, gorgeous lil' man in arms. xo
Numa - hello to you too. How are you going, apart from the tiredness? Don't worry - your energy levels should pick up when the 2nd trim begins. I LOVED the 2nd trim. Felt on top of the world!!
Lis - so nice to hear from you, with your "hold-me-constantly-mummy-nevermind-the-rest-of -the-world" baby. LOL! Sounds like it's quite a feat for you to get online these days. Hope you're loving being a mummy. Can't wait to join you, Monnie and Mako in the LTTTC Mummy ranks v.v.soon!
Shannon - how goes it with you and the terrific two?
Must fly!
Have a great weekend everyone.
-
Just wishing Nic all the very best for tomorrow. Can't wait to see your B.A hun.
Arielle Hopefully you are holding your little bub in your arms now too.
How's everyone else doing???
-
Gosh, it's a bit quiet in here ladies!
Wishing Nic all the very best, and I can't wait to read your BA.
Arielle...I hope you are a mummy now...or are you being made to wait a little longer?
-
Thanks for enquiring after me lovely ladies. I'm very excited to be able to finally let you know that:-
It's a :babygirl: SPROGETTE!! :babygirl:
Lew and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our bewdiful baby girl:-
LAELA JASMINE, 7pd 9oz, June 29th @ 11.48pm
We're in LOVE :loveshower:, and over the moon!! :hooray:
The birth went great. Labour was around 6hrs, and I got by on gas and a little peth. Pretty happy with that! Feeling well today, and colostrum is flowing nicely. Wooohoooh!!
Laela has given us a bit of a scare with some breathing difficulties (?possible lung infection & / or fluid on lungs), which haven't fully resolved as yet, but she's in an oxygenated crib, and picking up very quickly. Should hopefully be in our room by tomorrow.
Once again, I'd like to say the hugest thankyou to all of Laela's wonderful Cyber Aunts. All your encouragement, and cheering has helped immensely. You all ROCK !!
Nic - thinking of you hun, and can't wait to share in your fabulous news with you. All the best hun!! xo
