Arielle, how great that your ante natal classes are finished. Now just to wait for bubbas arrival :)
Shannon - YAY for being 12 weeks! OMG that went so fast!
Lis, hopefully you are holding your little girl in your arms right now. Thinking of you
Big hi to everyone. Have had a few days away from BB, been so very busy with getting DD's new room organised. Her new bed arrived this week, and DH finished off the painting, so we put the bed together, and surprised her as she didn't know it was arriving. there were a few tears, though if you ask her, she just had watery eyes! So we have a very happy little girl at the moment.
As for DTD, nope, not happening here. DH didn't have a chance when I was pregnant with DD as it was the furtherest thing from my mind then, I think I'm craving that little bit of extra intimacy that doesn't revolve around charts, or dr's/hospital visits etc. Oh well. only a few more months to wait LOL! We have our next OB appointment next week, and then another week and a half after that we have our hospital visit.
Nic

Hey ladies
Nic your story bought tears to my eyes!!!!! Dmn hormones.'
ladies I need to ask your opinion....I have been on progesterone pessaries since week 5...we are 12 weeks now and doc said I can go off it if I want. I had to ring him to see whether i could or not as I only have enough until next wednesday and if I needed more I needed tog et a script off him to get some....the nurse called me back and said he said I can go off them now...what do you think. Im scared to go off them incase of bad news but i hate them so much and give me the worst cramps and constipation. Im just concerned that no BT was done to check levels but I should really trust my DR huh????
-
Carla, when I came off my pessaries I didn't have any B/T done either, just a scan when I had a visit to my FS. I stopped mine all at once, the pessaries, and the provera and progynova, all of them twice a day. It was a weird feeling not doing anything, but also a relief at the same time. Can you call and tell them that you are worried especially since no B/T has been done? Maybe they will offer you one, especially if it gives you some peace.
-
Congrats to Shannon and Carla - big milestone!
Lismith - So glad to hear things are happening for you. Certainly hope you beat the induction. Perhaps you're holding her right now...?
Carla, I'm pretty sure by now that your placenta takes over hormone production, which is probably why your doc says it's ok to stop them (that, and obviously your blood levels were good). I had them for a short time at the beginning of my pg and was told to slowly cut down, rather than stopping all at once, so perhaps try that if you're a bit uncertain about it. ETA - posted at same time, Nic's advice is good ;)
Nic, hope it's not too long before you get some intimate time again.
Take care lovely mums-to-be
-
thanks ladies
I did ring my doctor to see if I could stop otherwise had togo get more so no bloods were done. I think I will take one at night instead of morning and night until i see him next week maybe. Just couldnt bare getting to this stage and something happening just becuase I whinged.
Im so scared about my scan next week. They say that being a diabetic...the first 8 weeks is crucial for good sugars to avoid defects...my sugars werent good then, no Im scared. IVF clinic didnt really take much notice of my diabetes when we were trying to fall and I didnt know what I know now so Im freaked out, but when am I not freaked out....GOD ENJOY THIS CARLA FOR GODS SAKE!!!
-
Oh Carla, It's only natural to worry when we try for so long/go through so much for our bubba's  It's only been the last few weeks - think it was my last OB appointment - that I have let my guard down and have started to really enjoy my pregnancy.
Huge hugs
Can't wait to hear all about your scan next week too.
Nic
-
Hi Girls,
Hope you are all well.
Carla - I stopped all pessaries etc at 12 weeks too and all was good. Your body has probably already taken over. I know the anxiety though as I had to take asprin until 30 weeks and stressed about coming off it cos I still wanted to know that baby was getting blood and that it wasnt clotting. Its a good thing to come off the progest, it will take the edge of your stress and you will feel better, promise !
Marcellus - nice to hear from you. I cant believe Aric is 1.5months old! It has gone so fast. How is it all going?
Nic - I too havent had any DTD and I think its both of us really but I know, regardless of how uncomfortable, if Im late, he will be on the workbench !
Lismith - I cant believe you went over ! My heart goes out to you but at least now you have a date if nothing happens beforehand ! Good Luck and I hope that all things run smoothly for you over the next couple of days. I will continue to send baby dust your way! Cant wait to read your BA !
Shannon - ohhhhhh how cute to see bubble & squeak wiggle in your scan ! Hope you are feeling ok and starting to relax a bit more now.
Arielle - we just finished out ante-natal classes too and they also got better. It was great to meet other mums-to-be that may be in hospital with me if all goes to plan. We have a reunion after the last birth and that will be awesome.
Me - I have been so anxious over the last 2 weeks because I so want to have this baby NOW ! Its not that Im not enjoying being pregnant, cos I am, its just I cant wait to hold him and see his face and kiss him. My ob told me that he has levelled out in his weight and he does not predict that he will be 8-8.5lb. He's now saying more around the 7.5lb, yippppeeee ! Im walking better but still sore and hobbling. Have appt next Tues and hope he's engaged.
YEP LISMITH I AM NEXT, ARIELE THEN NIC!
Take Care Everyone

Hi ladies
Hope you all had a good weekend.
Well we went of the progesterone Saturday morning.....things are starting to move around IE...constipation is no longer a drama so far.....YIPEEE....still a little cramping but all in all I feel alot better physically..ALTHOUGH, I went for my BT this morning for my scan on Wednesday..I have lost 1.1 kilos, do you think its the poo!! TMI....sorry but now Im freaking again..Im hopeless and know for sure if any of you knew me you wouel be slapping me stupid right now. just want Wednesday to be over. Becuase I dont have the nagging pain of being 'chocced' up...Im not feeling much down there and so that makes me nervous too. Am I suppose to be feeling nothing..my boob and nipples kill me and are still huge so things are ok right?
Lismith...Im so excited for you..GL huni.......I bet your so anxious with excitement....YEAH bubby is cooked and ready for the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Belly rubs everyone!
How were your weekends?
Lismith - yippeee!! I'm so excited for you hun. :hooray:VERY soon you'll be holding your lil' cherub in your arms!!!! Isn't that awesome!!! Bummer the mars bar enticement didn't work, but yay on having your folks here for bubs birth. That'll be really special no doubt.
I hope things kick in naturally b4 wednesday, and it's a nice hassle-free birth for you and your bewdiful daughter. :goodluck2: :goodluck2:
I am very much looking forward to hearing how it all goes.
TL - Yup - you're next! I am very much getting where you're coming from. I can't wait to meet, hold, kiss and cuddle my bubba too. I get so excited with goose bumps all over just thinking about it. WELL - won't be long now at all! YAY!!!
Good to hear you're walking a bit better, and that your antenatal classes went well. It's nice to leave those classes feeling more confident about everything, hey. We're having a reunion with our class peoples too. Should be good :D
He he - you made me laugh re: getting DH "on the workbench," if you're late! :cryinglaugh:
Nic - yay for you letting your guard down and enjoying your pg!! Is DD still loving feeling the kicks, and her new bedroom?
Carla - I remember feeling anxious about stopping the progesterone too. Hope you're feeling a bit more relaxed now hun. One day at a time!!! You'll get there ok!!
I'm sure Wednesday, when you see your gorgeous lil' one wriggling about on that screen, you'll feel loads better. Looking forward to hearing how you go!!
Me - all good! I can feel the relaxin doing its thang in my hip joints. They feel all loose and limber. Perhaps I should see if I can do the splits again, like I could many years ago as a gymnast , LOL!! (hmmmm, maybe not!!) Heartburn has been fun some nights. I've actually been waking up choking on the acidic stuff sliding down my wind pipe - YUCK!! Taking a preventative Rennie before bed the last few nights has helped a bit thankfully. Looking forward to tomorrow, as Dh will be coming with me to meet Mr.Ob (thought it'd be nice for them to meet b4 the big day). I think we'll make a day of it, and treat ourselves to a nice lunch out somewhere too.
Oh hey, how silly am I, I have to have my swab (strep B test) tomoz, and I'm feeling all shy and yuk about having my bits tampered with (they do an internal swab right??). I haven't had any internal exams since my 12wk scan (or was it my 6.5wk one??), so it has been a while. Better get over it pretty quick, as my privates are going to become rather popular I'm gathering over the next few weeks. YAY!!
Anyway, enough from me!
Take care all, and have a great week.
xo
-
Hi Girls,
Arielle - I did my strep B swab at home and then just dropped it off at pathology. They gave it to me at the clinic and I took it home. It was easier, quick and nothing to it - just a swirl around with a large cotton bud. I get you with the reflux stuff. Im on the Mylanta but in the last week it hasnt been working. Im sleeping badly too. I sleep until 12-1 then stay awake until 3-4 and back to bed until 9. I like the splits comment. I thought the same but to be totally honest, I get more pain straddling than I do sitting with my legs together. Weird how the relaxin opens the pelvis but hurts. Anyway, its a good thing that the pelvis opens, hopefully, less pain!
Carla - its ok to notice "nothing's going on down there" but you say your boobs are sore. Then lucky you dont have them all going on at once I say! It just shows you are in tune with your body and noticing changes. Dont panic that nothings happening down there when you have other things that are going on ! Your body will continually change and you will notice lumps, bumps, movement, tickles, stretching, pain, etc etc etc etc etc. Just relax ! I know its hard but us IVF girls are a lot more sensitive to what's happening to our bodies. Make it a positive thing. Imagine going through a pg and not noticing anything..... boring! You will be fine!:bellyrubs:
Lismith - Cant wait, Cant wait,Cant wait, Cant wait ,Cant wait, Cant wait ,Cant wait, Cant wait ,Cant wait, Cant wait ,Cant wait, Cant wait ,Cant wait, Cant wait ,Cant wait, Cant wait !
Me - Have my OB appt tomorrow and am excited to see bub again. My impatience for this baby is growing stronger by the day and so are my angry hormones like the first trimester! DH had a computer guy in the house last week hooking a video camera up to the computer so DH can see baby when he's at work ! I lost it ! I told him he works too much and if he wants to see his son, he can come home ! My girlfriends thought it was a sweet thing to do, Im PO'd hard with him and as usual, I will get over it.
Have a great week girls and thinking of you all.
TraceyLee

Ok, what's the Step B swab? I've had a great time with not having my bits being checked out the last few months lol!
Carla, I lost 4 kilos in the first tri! Even now I can put on a couple of kilos one week and the next I've lost 1 kilo. Hope all goes well with your scan on wednesday and your bub puts on a nice little show for you :)
Arielle, yep, DD still feeling kicks. She was home from school today after spending all weekend being ill, and felt bubs hiccups for the first time this morning. When I told her that bub had the hiccups, her eyes just about popped out of her head again! She has been wanting so desperately to feel the hiccups lol. Then all she could say was 'oh..poor bubba' everytime he jerked about. I told her that bub would get cranky with them soon and would do some big kicks and stretches, and when it happened she sang to him to help calm him down. It's the freakiest feeling when she sings twinkle twinkle little star, my tummy goes from feeling all heavy to feeling all light and airy!
And yes, she is still loving her new room. Goes in there every arvo and lays on her bed and chills out with a book or something else. We are aiming to have the inside of the cupboard sorted out this weekend so she can actually hang some clothes up.
What does the rennie taste like? I think I'm going to have to get some when I go shopping this week, the heartburn is getting really yucky lately, and mylanta and peppermint lollies just aren't working!
Hope all goes well at your appointment tomorrow. Wow at it being your DH's first meeting with the OB too.
lis, OMG at going to hospital tomorrow! Can't wait to hear some news, and hope all goes smoothly for you all. Will have you in my thoughts
Nic
-
Wow - all the best for tomorrow and wednesday Lismith. Still hoping she'll make a grand enterence before then though... ;) Can't wait to hear about it
Take care everyone
-
Lismith All the very best for tomorrow and Wednesday hun. I'm so excited for you and can't wait to hear how it all went and what name you've decided on.
Nic I can't remember what the Strep B is acutally for but I think its to check to see if you'll need antibiotics during birth or something. Sorry not much help there. But its just a little test that you can do yourself most of the time. The Ob will give you an extra long "cotton bud" to use. I did mine before I saw my Ob at one appointment. Its very easy and quick.
Hope you are all ok :D
-
Hi Ladies
Lismith..I wish you all the very best..........thinking of you...............xoxoxoxox
Thanks ladies....Im still in panic mode and this morning was totally convinced my boobs werent sore anymore..Im pretty sure they are just having another moment. Just want Wednesday to come and go. i just dont feel as tight in the tummy as I normally do. Like when I turn over in bed or move ont he couch it feels like Ive stretched something and my tummy is tender and now I have to stretch to the sky to get a slight feeling of that. I am wondering if it has to do with the progesterone I stopped taking on Saturday. That also makes me nervous. Im so sorry ladies, I should be so happy and excited...I am inside but Im so worried all the time. My DH is getting angry with me for not relaxing and always thinking the worst. We have just had so many complications in the beginning Im so scared somehting is going to take this away from us. i dont know how I would be if anything happened. My world would stop I think.
-
Oh TraceyLee...I think your DH is very sweet too but I can totally relate to wanting to slap the lovey DH's at the moment.....why are we so evil...ummmm der!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Good luck today Lis can't wait to hear about the arrival of your beautiful daughter!

HELP
Hi Gals,
Was browsing here yesterday and thought I would come and post and let you all know my good news! However am really freaking out this morning and hope its just me jumping to conclusions.
I woke up at 4am needing to go to loo to wee and was experiencing some cramping. Couldnt sleep and kept feeling twinges and finally fell asleep at 6.30 after Dh went to work. Woke up an hour later needing to go to loo and feeling a cramp. Went to loo and wiped and saw brown discharge. Wiped again and nothing then wiped and brown discharge. Now nothing. But am freaking out! Has this happened to anyone! Any advice welcome.
Called clinic and waiting for them to call me back. Dr on call rang, but he couldnt say anything without seeing my file. He said either I needed prog or if spotting continues unfortunately it hasnt worked!
My HCG on Monday was 27 and Prog 54. Apparently nurse said prog level was good to maintain preg and no need for crinone. Ahhh its doing my head in and its only the beginning.
Mon
-
just now I had some red brown spotting, freaking out.
-
Hang in there Mon, hoping that peanut is ultra sticky and behaves. Lots of women get spotting etc when they are pregnant. When is the doctor due to call you back?
 for you hun
Shan
-
Hi Mon
Huni try to relax event hough its hard. I am 13 weeks today and had spotting 3 days before my blood test and i thought it was all over red rover. That was at 4 weeks. Then at 6 weeks I had a fair amount again of brownish spotting...absolutely freaked out. Had a scan and found everything was fine. Could have been an implantation bleed they said. Then a few days later which happened to be around the time that I AF would have arrived, i had a smear of RED....was so upset and again turned out to be nothing. So what I am trying to say is, try not to worry but please go see your FS, maybe they can give you a scan or another blood test to make sure things are ok.
Its such a horrible time I know but its good you are in tune with your body, so please go and see your FS or GP.
Thinking of you sweetie and please keep us informed of what happens ok.
-
Mon, I had the brown spotting 3 times between 6 weeks and somewhere around 12 weeks i think it was? I also had it with DD. It's still scary though  hope you get a phone call back from the FS soon with some answers for you.
Big hi to everyone, hope you are all well.
lis, hope you are holding your beautiful bubba in your arms right now.
Shannon, how are things with you?
Nic
-
Thanks Shannon, Carla and Nic.
This is so hard. Still have some brown spotting, and some of the old crinone is coming out too. Called clinic and earliest can see FS is tomorrow. He is double booked but have advised I can hang around as am also going in for 2nd BT. Praying that it stays like this. DH has just arrived home. He is just as stressed. He's just gone out to buy some POAS tests.
Thanks for your stories, it gives me hope! Am just going to rest. At least I have had no more cramping.:pray:
-
Hi Ladies
We went for our scan..we are further along than we though...13 weeks and 3 days so now due 30 November even though they will be inducing me at 38 weeks. Everything was great, nothing to worry about. A very active little bubby doing tricks for us as we watched. Thanks for your support in my spastic posts......there is nothing to worry about..and if you have notice my new ticker..WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!!!
Im so happy now that things are fine...Im going to enjoy this from now on.....
-
Mon - Also following with your journal, very glad DH is home with you. try your hardest to relax and it isn't over until the fat lady sings..... and i dont feel like singing!!
Carla - Congrats on your little girl! How fantastic that they could tell alreadya nd everything is perfect!
Nic - Thanks for asking after me :)
Things here are good we had the nuchal scan Monday and 1:20000 chance of downs etc so very happy. Babies are perfect :) Squeak was very naughty and was doing rolls the whole time so it took and hour and half to get the measurements. Perfectly happy with the pregnancy, but i guess i haven't been posting much about myself i am struggling a bit with feeling so happy for us and having to watch friends struggle down the AC road still. And that balance of wanting to support them, but is it more painful than beneficial for them. Hope you guys know what i mean but its hard. I never thought we would get here and now we are i just want everyone else here with us!
And i guess i feel a little guiltier that we are having twins... IYKWIM.
Shan

Ok, this is me tentatively putting a toe in the water... I've been awfully hesitant to join up because of what happened last time, but it's time to start thinking positive!
We're due on the 16th of January, and had our first scan of our little parasite on Monday - measuring perfectly for dates and teeny little heartbeat blinking away at us. :D
I guess the first job is going to be attempting to catch up with everyone...
BW

Hi everyone
Just wondering what your thoughts are on this issue I have. I am VERY scared of have a scan done of my baby, especially in the first trimester (currently 5 wks 2 days preg). The reason for this is I have miscarried at 6 weeks before and it happened the day after I had a scan. I know it is probably a coincidence, but I would be so mad at myself if it happened again... Am I being neurotic?
-
Welcome BW and so happy to see you here and fantastic news on the scan!
Numa this is you pregnancy and your body, i say do whatever you need to make yourself feel more comfortable, and if that means not having a scan until you are good and ready if ever well thats up to you. Do whatever you can to make YOU feel better!
-
Woohoo BW!! So good to see you in here :)
numa, I can't say it better than what Shannon already has.
Shannon - Yep, I get the feeling bad about moving on into here and leaving others behind that shared in our journey's. LOL at squeak doing rolls and being cheeky with the measurements. so glad to hear all is well with both bubble and squeak and you too :)
Has anyone noticed if there has been a BA for lis yet? She had someone doing one for her didn't she?
Ok, we are off in the morning for our OB appointment. We are triple booked, so I'm sure there will be quite a wait.
Not too sure on when we will get home, probably a little late, so will have to try to catch up with everyone sometime friday hopefully?
Nic
-
Hey Hey BW welcome, Its so good to see you again.......Im so happy for you, this is so exciting......yeah!!!
Shannon-you always give such good advice!!!xoxox And thanks for the congrats...we are so happy and so relieved....poor DH is sad he is missing out on footy training but i did tell him she could turn out to be a tom boy and want to play footy with him!!! Hahahaha told him if all else fails, the dog is a BOY!!! He is so happy..and Im sure this little girl will be the apple of his eye. So from now on I am going to enjoy this journey instead of beating myself up every day....
Mon...whats been happening? Are things ok?
Has anyone heard from Mon?
-
Oh yes Carla, I'm sure your DD will have your DH wrapped around her little finger as soon as he holds her. Mine is 8 and a half and still has daddy wrapped around her little finger. After she was born he would visit me in the hospital and pick her up first and sometimes I would get a hello, but mostly he just sat there all day with her in his arms.
-
Carla, there's been an update in Mon's TTC journal. Sadly, she won't be joining us just yet. :(
BW
-
Mon I'm so sorry to hear your news, and am feeling very self centered for not reading far back enough to see something was up. You deserve all the best the future can hold for you  Take care...
Shannon and Nic, thanks for your replies. Shannon your advice was great. I had spoken to my nurse and she said "I think you have to have it done", so it was great to have someone remind me its my body and my choice.
Also I'm sorry everyone if it was a bit of a negative thing to discuss in here  I know we are probably all quite scared at times, having been on such a long journey to get here. I am however glad to hear of many of you having positive experiences with early scans.
-
Hi everyone!
So nice to see some new faces in here.
Mon - like I said in your journal hun, I'm so very sorry for yours and Mass' loss. I'm so proud of you for looking at the positives right now. You're an amazing gal. YES - you can get pg, and you WILL again my friend. xo
BW - a huge congrats to you for being brave enough to put your toe in the water. I can understand how scarey it must be for you. Such awesome news about your scan hun. All's looking great!!
Numa - welcome to you, and congrats on your BFP! Don't apologise for any negativity hun. We all completely get where you're coming from, and are here to help you through it. If you don't feel comfortable about the scan, then by all means, don't feel you have to do it. Perhaps, have a chat with your doc about your feelings??
Shannon - so good to hear that your scan went well too. Sounds like you've got a couple of acrobats in there :)
Nic - haven't seen a BA for Lis yet, but am about to scoot off and check again. She'd have had bub by now. How exciting! Hope your Ob appt. was hunky dorey hun!
TL - how you doin' hun?
Carla - I am so pleased to hear you sounding so much happier after your scan. It's a girl - wooohooooh! Congratulations!! Welcome to your 2nd trimester hun!!! The best part of the pregnancy for sure!!
All's well with me. DH and Mr.Ob got along like a house on fire. Silly me - swab wasn't a big deal (nurse did it). Nic - an internal swab is done around 35 or 36 wks to test for Strep B. It is not a deep swab, and is over in 5 seconds. If you have Strep B, then they just give you antibiotics during the birth to prevent bub from picking up the bug. Not sure if they still do for a c/s??
Have a nice day all!
Belly rubs,
Arielle

Hey Everyone !
Arielle - Im doing well. So freaked out now its getting close. Im so far along and Im still in like a dream state about this whole thing after so long of trying. I just want him to be ok. I will not rest until I have him in my arms. Feet now swollen and ever so sore but resting heaps. Getting teary & very tired, hope thats a sign.
Butterfly Warrior & Numa- Yippeeee ! Come in the water is fine, some have floaties on and some are doing swimmingly well ! The pool is huge and there's lots of support if you feel like drowning ! Everything crossed for you! Im so excited for you both.:excited:
Nic - hope your OB appt went well.
Carla - Congrats on the news of a little girl! How sweet ! Great that you have new dates too. :cheer:
Me - Had OB and have to pick the 10th or 12th for induction if I dont go before then. That gives me 12 days and I am totally anxious about the whole thing. Am now thinking of considering pain relief which I never did before. Getting scared and cry everytime I think about holding him. Im praying he will be ok. After all this I would be messed up for anything to happen to him. I am so scared more than ever before. OB next week and he is doing an internal to see where Im at. I just want him in my arms safe and breathing.
Lots of News in here and it has been uplifting for me and exciting to hear how everyone is. Thanks for being there!

Hi everyone
Hope your weekend is looking good. I'm counting down to my third BT on Tuesday.
Shannon - thanks again for your sound advice :), there is no right answer, just what is right for me. Glad to see your bubbas are doing great.
Carla - congratulations on your scan going well and finding out you are having a little girl! Glad to see you are feeling more settled.
Nic - only 5 weeks to go? how exciting :dance:Don't feel too bad about leaving behind other LTTTCers - everyone who has success after a long journey is a huge inspiration to those still on the road. Success stories give so much hope when its most needed.
BW - I can see from your signature this has been a hard road, I'm hoping for you this one has a happy ending
Arielle - thanks for the lovely welcome, reassurance and advice :) I am going to ask both my FS and my GP (who is much easier to talk to) lots of questions before I decide about the early scan. Only 3 weeks to go for you!
Traceylee - only 2 weeks to go! Its great to see so many of you so close to finally holding your little one :baby:. I've heard its not uncommon to get scared once you get close to the day, try to trust yourself, we women are designed to do this sort of thing!:D
I'm feeling a bit worried this morning as I have few symptoms at 5 wks 4 days. No morning sickness at all (I didn't have it last time either), the dull cramping has stopped, the only things are sensitive nipples, slightly bigger boobs, and a bit tired and frequent snacking. My first big milestone is to make it past 6 weeks, which is when I lost my little one last time . Please stick around bubba!
-
Welcome BW. Its great to see you've plucked up the courage to dip your toe in lol. I wish you the most amazing pregnancy hun.
Numa Please try to relax hun. I know its a hard thing to do espacially after LTTTC and a loss but I swore that positive thinking really did help me in the long run.
Alot of people don't get M/S until the 6 or 8 week mark. The tender nips and enlarged BB's and frequent snacking etc are all very good signs that everything is coming along nicely. Take care sweety and all the best for the next B/T.
Traceylee Your up next hun. Can't wait to see your B/A. Have you asked someone to do it for you?
Nic How did your appointment go? Did you and DH survive the wait?
Any news on Lismith?????
Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all doing really well and those bellys are growing nicely. It sure is great to see lots of new faces and can't wait for you to join us in the parenting after LTTTC threads :D
-
Thinking of you Lis! Can't wait to hear your news!!! Hope all is well, and you're loving cuddling your little one.
Hi to everyone else. No time to chat today, but hope you're all well, and had a most enjoyable weekend. xo
-
Hi girls, just an update from me. OB appointment went well. We were the ones running late by about 15 minutes, so we only had to wait for about 10 minutes luckily. Eventually got DH back to my parents for some sleep around lunch time with instructions to wake him at 3.30 so we could go shopping. He bought the pram that he has been checking out, so he is one very happy daddy.
OB felt my tummy and said bubba doesn't have much room in there! He also called me a "skinny", which I told him was a nice thing to hear from someone who doesn't have to say nice things about me. He realised he hadn't booked us in to the hospital so he did that as well, which now means we are third on his operating list that day, but he said it may mean we don't need to be there as early.
Checked out my scar from DD and said it has healed very nicely for an emergency c/s and i think he is going to cut over it again, but he said it won't be so big this time round. Told us if there are any requests to let him know and he will try to accommodate us.
We made it home and I now have a lovely cold, and DD is still home from school as well.
I have to see a GP next week for a checkup, as OB is away, then we see him the week before our c/s on the Thursday for a final checkup and a blood test as well he said.
Ooh, almost forgot.. he gave me some meds for the heartburn I've been having, but told DH to get it for me as they would probably give me a lecture about taking it while pregnant!
We have our hospital visit/interview next week as well.
Will drop back later for some personals...
