hehehe it caused a bit of confusion didn't it :)
Hi Trish
I’ve just remembered that I used to chat with you in these forums over a year ago, I think it was in the Long Term TTC but I had a different user name back then…….love the photo of your bubbas. Congrats. Nice to leave and then come back and see something as wonderful as that. Glad to hear all is well.
Just got back my HCG results...413...which I think is fine for 4 weeks...yayay!!!
Going to be on weekly tests for the next few weeks to ensure it continues to increase...
MONNIE: My HCG with this preg was only 296 at 4 weeks 2 days, so i'd say yours is wonderful. Congrats on your pregnancy... heres to H&H 8 months..
wow! my hcg was 35 at 4w2d!!
Thanks for the encouragement guys...much appreciated!!!
hey Monnie
Mine was 355 at 4 weeks 2 days, so yours sounds very good
Hope & Fig

you are missing the image tagsaround your ticker code - instead of it being a link

Hope - are you allowed to say ... who you were or do I go undercover ?
Hi Trish
I just checked my ticker and its not showing a * this is what is has on my signature
http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt.../c302/preg.png
Is it not working???
The previous name I used was sv. I didn't take part in alot of the forums, I was more of a reader back then. At that stage we were only charting. I was living in Sydney and had my gyno in Melbourne so it was very difficlut in trying to coordinate things. I did go to Melbouren for a lap to remove more endo. Soon after that I was to start comid and the gyno changed his mind, which wa just shattering to me. So soon after that I stopped logging on to BB because I found it too distressing not being able to be proactive and do something about my fertility...anyway we moved back to Melbourne March this year, changed gynos, had more tests done and then got a referral to a FS. Where we have finished our first cycle of IVF/ICSI....still can't belive it worked first round. Althoguh the more nausea I have the more I believe it!
Your name was familiar and then it dawned on me where I knew it from.LOL
Hope does your ticker address have at the end? or just the http:// bit. It has to have the square bracketty things to make your ticker show as an image.
Morning everyone.
Suffering terrible cravings for roast chicken this morning. Weird given it is 10.30am and hot!
Kar: mmmmm roast chicken would be nice right now!!!!
I wanted to ask all you IVF ladies a question. When I was 3 weeks and 4 days up to 4 weeks and 1 day my ovaries were really bloated and really painfully. It would wake me up all night and could hardly walk from the pain and urinating gave me massive pressure pains. It got better until Friday night which was 5 weeks and the pain started all over again.
Did anyone else have this? The ivf nurses told me the first pain was from the pregnancy hormones from being pregnant and that it would eventually settle down. I guess I didn't expect it to come back again. If anyone did have it, what did you do to relieve it?
Fig - No I haven't had that I've just had the aches across the lower abdomen and it has been quite constant and at times bordering on pain...but its more aches. The VIF nurses said it was everything stretching....
Kar - I've tried the brackety things but then it didn't work......dos it go before the http? When I click on it it works so I'm not sure.......
Kar just popping in to say WOW! 30 weeks girl! CONGRATULATIONS!
Hope - try it again or cut and paste your ticker code as it is in my post above and remove the * and it will show- at the moment it is a link rather than displaying the ticker image. Sorry i only did it to show you.
the after no spaces if you just edit yours.
i had lots of unusal pains - yes stretching it is
Fig - I can so relate to that IVF ovary pain. I also had ovary pain between 5-10 weeks despite not actually being on IVF when we conceived our little miracle. My fertility specialist explained that it is ovary pain - and it happens at this stage because your ovaries are supporting your pregnancy up until 10 weeks when the placenta is developed enough to take over. So your poor ovary will be pumping out the hormones. It's a good sign. My left one was sore at the beginning of this preg and when I had my 7 week ultrasound they confirmed that the egg had come from the left one.
Thanks Tigg.
Where's Danni! - I think she must have reached 20 weeks by now!
Fig - I have had the ovary pain, as Kar said the ovaries are working to support the pregnancy in additional to all the work they have had on them during stim and pickup. Add to that the normal stretching as things grow and it can be a bit uncomfortable. Both my OB and FS mentioned this and said it is perfectly normal. Plus I have the added bonus of the odd adhesion stretching along the way..Youch.
I can't believe I am 9 weeks already, only 3 weeks until the big announcement
Wow...Jane...9 weeks!!! That is so fantastic!!! I remember when you first announced it on BB...didn't seem that long ago at all!
Thanks so much to everyone about the reassurance of ovary pain (not that I brought it up...but I began to experience something like that today)...kept dashing to the toilet "just in case"...
Thankfully...it's sounding like it is all pretty normal...I didn't know that about the ovaries being in charge until the placenta takes over...
Phew!
Jane and Kar thank you so much for that. Its so great to be able to ask questions and get other people experiences. I was beginning to think I had done some damage to my ovaries (I have had a burst cycst in the past so probably a bit paranoid about those things).
Kar: I am amazed they could tell which ovary the egg came from - the things they can do these days!
Monnie: hope i didn't jinx you :)
Just poppin in to chk on u all again...
It's great to see so many new recruits in here, lots of activity, hope there's more LTTTC girls to come. :)
Oh wow Kar, what a lovely baby bump. Yay on 30wks. :)
Xlnt news Monnie.
Wow Danni, I would've been freakin if I'd have gotten that HCG reading, as my IVF clinic said they consider 100 at 4wks to be +ve, & here u are, a wonderful success story, thats great. Yay on 20wks. :)
Wow Chris, 27wks, that time feels like it has flown, although prob doesn't to u. :)
Oh Monnie, what a way to announce it, what a great idea, hehe & yes I have to agree with Chris, PMSL at ur MIL.
Hey Fig
You didn't jinx me at all...I was just so relieved that you posted so I got to read all of it before I went into a major tailspin!
That's what I love about BB!!!
I agree Kar...your baby bump is gorgeous!
Danni...well done on 20 weeks...I've followed your pregnancy throughout and it's been a real inspiration...great stuff!

Thnx girls, but i dont want to intrude here, as didnt LTTTC this time, so i have an ancmnt thread u can post in if u wish. :)
Hey Shell
I don't think you are intruding at all...even though I'm so early in my first pregnancy, given how long it took us to get to this point, I have had some worries about whether I'll ever be able to conceive again...
You've given me much hope! Thankyou!
Awww thnx Monnie, that's lovely, glad I could help, hehe. Here's to a sticky bub for all. :)
Oh & yes I'm getting those ovary twinges too & got them last time too, it was the reason I did another HPT, coz first was -ve 3 days earlier.
SHELL: Congrats lovey.. good to see you here.. heres to h&h 8 months.

AWW A CHRISTMAS bubba for Shez - I am so excited for you now :P
thanks Trish... It still seems so surreal and so far off.. I'm sure I'll get a huge shock if I go into labour spontaneously anytime soon!!!
Hi Trish
I did what you siad but then it says can’t display page..so I don’t know!
Monnie – its reassuring everyone saying the same thing about te pain and my FS confirmed same today.
Well I haven’t posdted for a while as I had the last two days of work Tuesday and Wednesday. I have had constant morning sickness all day since late last week and food wise – I’m struggling. Until I put the food in my mouth I never know if its going to make me feel worse. I am soo tired, exhausted actually and both days I had off I slept most it. Lucky work is quiet so I didn’t have to worry about what was gong on there.
I saw my FS today and had my 6 weeks scan, have two gorgeous little pictures, one of the womb and one of the heart beat monitor. Ladies I can not express how happy I was to see the little bugger there, with a heart beat in his/her little sack growing away. It was just amazing. I now believe that I’m pregnant. (Oh and singleton not twins).
Due date is at 7 or 8 August. Although it was the size of 6.5 days so a little bigger than the average which is great as that means its growing well.
Well done Shell.
Congrats to everyone else on your progress, its great to hear about all the little bumps out there.
Shez what an amazing chrissie present wow. What a great reminder every year and double the present for baby – christmas and b’day he he he.
Must fly catching up on work which is good as its keeping me occupied and stopping me from pullig out my 6 week scan picture to stare at lol

Hope =LOL when you saidyou had my heart jumping - one is wonderful congratulations:
have two gorgeous little pictures
Trish - LOL at you being the resident helpdesk, I am amazed my ticker worked considering the lack of thought I put into how to do it
Hope - are you MIVF by chance? I think I know the type of print out you mean, sounds the same as mine
Shez - good luck with the plan, how exciting for you
Chris - hope you start to feel a little less stretched although at this point not sure how to achieve that, there are a few girls at work who are the same date as you and they are waddling around at the moment and look extrememly uncomfortable
I have been terribly exhausted this week and had a terrible day yesterday feeling so hungry, feeling better today thankfully and now I am hanging out for the weekend
I am terrible when I come in to post lately, I keep losing the plot and can't scroll back to remember what has been happening, so a big hi to everyone ( and forgive the irratic personals)
hi everyone. Congrtas on the great scan Hope it is great to see isn't it. Jane, can totaly relate to the scatter brain factor.. have to tell you it gets way worse!!!
I saw OB today...bub is 95th percentile and as I am only 5" he is not keen for a traumatic labour so we have booked a caesarean for next wednesday. This time next week I will have a baby in my arms!!! I am still in shock!!!
Belly rubs to all
WOW Shez!!! This time next week...what a wonderful thought!
Shez - wonderful wonderful news honey - you might make it home for Christmas even
Wow Shez, what a spin out thinking this time next week, I can understand you are in shock as well, good to hear that you have a clear plan
Woohoo Shez - excitement city!
