hi, hope everyone's doing well and had good weekends.
Sush - I'm glad that DH is looking after you well and that you're feeling a bit better.
SHell- Hope you're doing okay!
Yaye!! Looking forward to the three bubbas coming into the world in the next fortnight or so....Very Exciting!!
Hi Girls,
I'm still here and have had a very slack day. Just did some washing and then went back to bed for a few hours while it went through the dryer.
Shell - Go you good thing! Hope to hear some good news soon.
Sush - I'm glad you're still around because I was feeling a bit left out. Sounds like you have had a restful if slightly uncomfortable weekend. Your poor feet. Good old Karl ... he's Mr Reliable on the home front!
It is very hard to sleep now. Daylight saving kicked in here over the weekend so I'm still getting used to that too. Looks like it will be raisin toast and tea at 4.30am until my body gets used to it again.
I rang DH about a half an hour ago on his mobile. He nearly had to change his underwear. You can imagine the reaction when I told him I'd called to ask him to pick up bacon on the way home.
Thanks for the LVs girls. I'll be needing them.
Mel
IT's A GIRL!!!!
Hi, I'm shell's sister Paula. Shell wanted me to let you guys know that she and baby are fine. Labour started around midnight and she went to hospital around 7am.
Contractions irregular so they induced her. After hours of labour they found the baby was breached and she had Holly via c-section just before 3 pm today under an epi, she was awake and Alan watched.
6 pound 7 ounces. Beautiful little girl "Holly Maree". Both are doing fine.
I am a very Proud Aunty/sister.
WooHoo *Jumping around the room*
:confetti: WELCOME HOLLY :confetti:
YAY!!!!! :cheer: :cheer:
Hi Paula & thank you so much for letting us know about Miss Holly's arrival!
Please congratulate Shell & Alan on their gorgeous baby :girl: for me.
Give Mum a big kiss & can't wait for piccies!!!
Welcome to the world
HOLLY MAREE
FANTASTIC NEWS, CONGRATULATIONS SHELL on your precious little HOLLY MAREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope your recovery is a quick one and that Holly brings you all the happiness in the world.
Hi to everyone else!!!!!!!!! I know I promised last time to post more often, but life has just been so hectic. I do however log in to see how you are all going on a regular basis when I have five mins up my sleeve.
Wow Mel, I can't believe your due already, you must be soooo excited. I too am booked in at the Freemasons, so I want to hear lots of lovely stories after your little William arrives.
Sushee - Yr almost there too!!! It really does seem like just yesterday we were all desperately waiting for those two lines to appear. Just look at us now.
Me - I'm going really well. Very tired but good other than that. My ob has decided it safer for me & bubs to book me in for a c/s, so I'm happy to go along with what he thinks is best. I had an emerg C/S with DD plus I had a spinal fusion just on two years ago, plus a couple of other issues, so I guess a C/S was always going to be on the cards. It looks like probably at this stage the 14th of June.
I'm still working full time and hope to for quite a number of weeks yet.......we'll see how I go.
Trish - How are you coming along, I bet your bubs are growing beautifully.
Sheree - Hope you are doing well, I think of you often.
Talk to you all soon
Alicia xxxxxxxxxxx
Congratulations Shell!!!!
What wonderful news!!!!
Mmmm - so who's next?????
Happy due date tomorrow Mel!
\:D/ wooohooo shell \:D/
welcome to the world HOLLY
SHELL!!! CONGRATS!!! So glad to hear that little Holly arrived safe and sound. Can't wait to see the pictures!
Ali - yes time has flown and technically, I should be in Freemasons today, squeezing out WM but it looks like I'll just be having an ob appointment at this stage! Congrats on the progress of your pg. Looks like everything is going well.
Hope everyone has a good day. Had to log in early because I couldn't wait to see what had happened overnight.
Cheers,
Mel
Congratulations Shell \:D/
Yay Shell - what awesome news. Well done to you all.
Can't believe Mel and Sush are up next, I still remember when you got your + HPT's like yesterday!!
Thanks SO much to the mod that changed my avatar - it is awesome!
That would be the lovely Kathryn :D She does a great job doesn't she?!:

Yah for Shell & DH, I'm sure little Holly Maree is just gorgeous.
Can't wait to see her.
Take care & enjoy!!!
Hi girls, just thought I'd pop in and see if Mel had left any clues in here. She left a very suspicious post in the April baby buddies sticky....
mmmm, let's see....
Bel
Bel
I think the wink might be a clue - but :smt102
Mel please check in out let us if William has checked out ;)
Oh crikey, sorry Bel. Nothing is happening yet unfortunately!
Sarah asked me what I meant too ... had to tell her it was just me, sending "get out of me" vibes to WM. Sorry to disappoint!
Right ... the plan for today is shower, clean up kitchen, make bed, fruit and veg shopping, bathroom scrubbing ... all that activity must count for something.
Mel - what did the OB say ?
Have you read the forums for some of the advice about ways to give bubs the hurry up :bd:
LV
hehe - we've got very suspicious minds around here Mel!!
You're plan for the day sounds very similar to mine - lets hope it's counts for both of us!
Have a great day ladies
Bel
Trish, the chances of any :bd: in this house are remarkably slim at the moment but thanks anyway =)
The ob said that there is plenty of amniotic fluid around WM which means that all is well and the placenta is still going gangbusters. WM's heartbeat is as strong as ever so no worries with him. He said it's probably just a waiting game and it was normal to go a bit over with the first one ... all the usual stuff. He offered to do an internal but again I declined. I'm a stubborn old bat.
Thanks for the LVs.
PS: Okay Bel, you're on ... let's see if all this activity does what it's supposed to. =)
All the best for today Mel! I hope all of your activity counts for something as well. I was the same as you with the internal with my DD. Waited till 41 weeks for mine.
Things are going along really well here except for **TMI ALERT**
Over the past few days when I have stood up I have had warm fluid coming out 8-[ I really hope it is just CM, certainly not anymore than a trickle. I immediately bolt to the toilet to check for blood but nothing..any clues anyone?
Congratulations Shell =D>
Not long Mel and Sushee, LV to you both. \:D/
Skye - I'm not sure what you mean. I have lots of CM. Have you called your ob.
Good luck for tomorrow Anna - scan ????
I have my next ob appt this Friday, hoping to see bubs and get a sneak preview at gender LOL.
Hi Trish and Humphrey.
Morning all,
Thanks for the LVs girls! I'm sending my share to Mel still - it's only fair she goes before me! Where is WillMartin?!
Though the BHs keep coming, so who knows? Almost all day now, but not regular. I am seeing my ob today so will be back later with, what will likely be, no news whatsoever.
Also took my final pg belly shot today and stuck in on bub's website. I made sure I got my head into this picture (and a lot more of my tattoos too!) so there's no denying it's me. I also thought my tum hadn't grown in the last few weeks. Okay, I was wrong!
Take care all. I'm shooting out for coffee with my mum and DD, so will BBL. My mum is trying her hardest to be nice...

It is getting very exciting! Yaye Shell now has her bubba.... that means 1 down and 2 more to go......very very soon..... Lots of LVs to Mel and just a few less to Sush ;) .... hey you never know you may both go on the same day!
Hope you might see a little pink or blue in your scan Sheree!
Skye... I have no idea whether that is normal or not... is the fluid clear or creamy or coloured? perhaps knowing that may help. everything crossed for you.
Sush... love your latest photo - pregnancy is all its beauty (and am glad we can now have a good squizz at all your art work!
Skye - Its probably CM if it isnt clear. I have the same thing sometime  and I have to change my panties. If your worried though I'd call your Dr and ask his/her advice.
Magic - yep Im thinking we'll get an impromtu scan tomorrow so my bladder is going to be full and raring to get bubs visible! I want a sneak peak at gender too, I def think the 13wk u/s was right. I *know* they can tell by now.
Ugh miss MamaDoggie is not behaving herself anymore so we may have to kick them outside ](*,) For some reason she has worked out how to get out of the cage fence their surrounded by and she mega-pooped in my dining room TWICE. Then she emptied the bin onto the kitchen floor for me. Being in my preggo induced coma last night I didnt hear a thing. Not happy Jan, we let her out for an hour at a time a bazillion times a day and she does it DURING THE NIGHT *sigh* So now Im tired having cleaned up the mess at 5am this morning and now I cant sleep cause Ive banished Mama outside until we can figure out an alternative and the poor pups are restless (just whingers).
Aw thanks Keen, I like the photo too. Zaki took all my pg photos, I believe the boy has a future in photography!
I told DH today that I would love to have the photo framed, and he said what? of you in your knickers? we'll have to hang it up in the bedroom! You know, it didn't even occur to me I was in my knickers only! Lol!
Anna, I was mega hinting to DH about how you had choc lab puppies, but he's not getting the hint. Of course, we already have two dogs, so realistically we can't have another, but when we got Al (my yellow lab), I had initially wanted a chocolate one, so am feeling the pull. But of course with baby coming, it's not possible. A woman can dream though...
Off to cook dinner, then off to the ob's office. Wish me luck!

Sush - I loooove your belly!! I just want to give it a big rub!!
I got my chocolate lab 2 months after my DS was born. WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!! Now at 18 months she's still a nutbag. Chocolate is such a practical colour - she always looks clean (wish she smelt clean though). Great dogs for kids, very tolerant.
Hi Justine
How are you?
Aaaaah chocolate labs, with ex-DH we had a gun dog as an engagement present he was a black lab and named "Gunshaw Lachlan" - but we called him Jack. He was an amazingly clever dog - but like you all have said the first couple of years with a lab is just like having a baby!!!!! [My ex kept the dog, I had some visitation rights after the divorce, but they live in country Victoria!!!]
Justine,
Al didn't settle until he was 3. He was very much a puppy, and very destructive until then. He's now a complete couch potato though. And yes chocolate would have been a nice clean-looking colour, he always looks dirty. Doesn't help that he finds the grottiest spot in the garden to sleep in.
And as for my belly, yes I want to have this baby now, but I'll miss rubbing it my tummy when it's gone...

sushee
Sushee - have you been to the ob yet?
Not until 2pm, Sheree. I am going to ask for a quick scan today as well, if he doesn't offer. Also must remember to ask if bub is posterior. Ani and Zaki were both posterior, and apparently that may show a tendency for my body to present my babies in a posterior position. Me? I think it's coz I slouch in bed watching telly so much! Lol!

I honestly think once my labs hit the 1yr mark they got better! They stay permanently outside unfortunately as we dont own our own house and it has carpet. If we had wood flooring like our old house I'd let them in. I must admit we've noticed our choccy girl has a more docile personality and is better with kids, not so over excitable. But we love our golden boy too, he's a bit smarter than Sabre but I dont think it has anything to do with colour, just that she's like the Jessica Simpson of the dog world :cryinglaugh:
Honestly Sush, I think youd find a puppy easy if you already have two dogs. Sabre was so much easier because all she wanted to do was be with Colt, she slept with him, played with him as opposed to Colt being on his own the first 6 months. I say keep working on your Dh, choccy labs are hard to come by and your kids are more than old enough to help out ;) They arent due for homes until the last week in May. I just hope we can find them good homes, Im already worrying about them not being loved enough, their just so precious and fantastic dogs.
Def have to ditto the choccy being a better colour. She never looks or feels dirty as their coats are shorter, as opposed to Colt looking like he's just tunnelled from China (which Im sure he's done going by the huge crater in our backyard)!
Anna,
oh trust me I'm going to work on DH, but unfortunately he's not a man given to impluse, and I'm not the kind of woman who's good at using my womanly wiles to get my way, so I know I'll be fighting a losing battle
Well back from my ob appt. Nothing much to report. Bub's head has moved out of the pelvic cavity a bit - sigh - but this is apparently completely normal in a woman who's had kids before. I have been given strict instructions that I should go in and get checked if my BHs get regular, to not wait until I get a show or anything, as I had Zaki quite quickly and he'd rather be safe than sorry.
He sent me for a CTG to check on bub's FHR and to check it's movements and responses to the BHs, and I obliged by having a few well-timed contractions, and bubs obliged by doing all the things it's supposed to, so all is well.
I said to him as I left that I'll see him at next week's appt. He said probably. So there you have it.

Hi everyone!
So glad your appt was smooth sailing Sush, your tum is so gorgoeus! Have any of our tattoos stretched? I have one on my lower back that was ok last time but not sure if it will stay together this time round!!
This 'stuff' is like clear to creamy coloured if that makes sense? I haven't called my ob, I have an appt on Monday but will see what happens over the weekend. I think I am developing thrush so maybe it is just lots of CM (sorry if tmi)
Great to see you here Keen! Your spot is nice & warm in here, hope you are well & gearing up for the next step.
Ohhh Mel how are you? I wonder how your day of cleaning & shopping went. Mr WM will be here before we know it!!
Good night everyone!!
Hi All,
Sush- Love the piccie, you look like you're about to pop! The tatts are great. I'm glad your appointment went well and I'm sending LV's your way!
Mel - Also sending LV's to you. How did you go with the house work?
Hi Skye, Anna, Justine and all others.
