oh Jo--- I SOOOO dont miss the m/s. I too forgot what it was like to feel well. But soon-- you'll be in ther second tri and everything will be bliss for a few weeks :)
Kar: thanks hunny. I took some more pics and put them on Juniors website too. Hows Princess Hester going???
-
Oh Jo...so sorry to hear about the m/s...hope you start to feel more human again soon!
Two mums....twins, hey? Looking forward to hearing about your scan...
Had our doctor's appointment yesterday...all is going well...had to pay the "big payment" but our doctor's fees are really low compared to others....apparently it's a fairly new private practice, so he dropped his fees...anyway...only had to pay $200 and will get $100 back again!!!
Time to go shopping!!!
-
Aww Jo, sorry you are so sick, Kim is only 5w1d and last night was the first night she felt sick and she actually threw up!! I hope that isnt a sign of things to come....hey, our scan is on the 16th as well!! At 9.30am...
Monnie glad everything is going well, must be going more often to the doctors now, or is that a bit later on?
Oh wow Danni, your baby bump is getting bigger now, its so beautiful, pregnant bellies yay... bet you are glad to get to this stage finally!!!
-
yes megan, this stage is unbelievable. I cant describe it!
-
Sorry to hear Kim has m/s as well...it's really happening!!!
I'm still on 4 weekly visits to the Ob. but will start on 2 weekly visits soon...good thing about that is that he does do scans...so I get to see ziggy a little more often...
-
Hey ladies,
Thanks for all your smpathy, Dh just doesn't understand how awful it is but I know you girls do.
Megan - I can't believe we are going on the same day for our scan, mine isn't till the arvo though but lets hope we both have wonderful news that our bubba's are healthy.
Just a question seeing as kim is nearly as pg as me, is she really bloated at times because sometimes I look like I'm 4 months pg?
(It's probably just because I eat constantly, hope kim doesn't suffer too much with M/S).
So we are telling our immediate family over the easter break which I can't wait they are all going to be so excited & I do feel it's probably a little early but we can't keep it secret any longer & they are all going to wonder why I'm not eating chocolate because I am normally adddicted to the stuff but just don't feel like it lately.
So then when I go back to work after easter I will tell them which is good to because they have made a few comments about what I've been eating lately or rather how much, lol.
If I don't get on tomorrow I wish everyone a safe & happy easter, please drive safely.

Hey Jo
I remember being really bloated in the beginning...for about the first 8-9 weeks...
I'm a bloater from way back though!!!
-
Yes Jo, i think maybe the bloating may be left over from the clomid...her belly is bigger than usual... Kim was feeling a bit queasy tonight, but she wasnt sick, she went to sleep to try to avoid the feeling... guess its all happenin now!!
-
Hi girls,
I remember most of you from LTTTC & AC, not sure if you remember me. We finally got our BFP (from 1st IVF) and we're due 3 Dec.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one with m/s. Although mine lasts all day... I just don't know what I feel like eating. But I eat all day. It's terrible. I'm queasy, but hungry! And now I've come down with some sort of head cold/flu which is a bugger. I can't wait to get out of air/con office for 4 days!!!
Megan and Jo - I'm so jealous of your scan on 16th. Mine's not till the 20th!! I can't wait to see the heartbeat, how exciting.
Jo - have fun telling everyone, I can't wait to. Unfortunately my parents are going away for the weekend so I won't be able to tell them... I'm dying to! Hopefully next weekend... although I am hoping to wait till the 7 week scan. We'll see.
I'm bloated too. I was at a wedding on the weekend and the groom touched my tummy and asked if I was pregnant, when I said no, he wouldn't believe me! He finally did, but he won't be surprised when I tell them in a few weeks.
Dannie & Monnie - not long now. It must be very exciting at that stage. I'm looking forward to it.
I hope everyone has a lovely Easter break.
Sam

Welcome SJ, yay, isnt it a wonderful feeling to join these girls!!!
Hey Danni tomorrow is 13 days to go!! HeHe, we need a countdown ticker for these two weeks!! Hope you are feeling good and getting time in with hubby!!
Nothing has changed in our camp, Kim hasn't been too bad with the morning sickness so far, first night she threw up, second night she felt a bit queasy and last night she just went to bed early and slept through it...so all in all not too bad.
-
I changed my ticker just for you Megan!! :D
-
Yaye Danni.. can't wait for the birth annoucement who is posting for you?
-
Whoever gets online first! Lol
there will be a few bb members getting a text to watch out for it on Friday 20th April around lunch time :)

Hi Girls
Sorry i've been a bit quiet the last few days, Kim has had a little brown spotting and so i freaked out and we went up to the hospital last night and we had an U/S and she has a small subchroionic heamatoma (blood clot) between the placenta and the wall of the uterus. They said that it could go either way, but that it is very common. Basically it is the implantation bleed that didnt come out at the time, and is trying to come out now.
HCG was 14000 and the fetal pole measured 5w4d which is only a day behind our dates so maybe she just implanted a day later than we thought and they managed to get a trace on the heartbeat of 106 bpm, although only once, but we could visually see the little heart flicker and the baby is only 2.2mm long!! Amazing!!
So Kim is at home in bed and not doing anything for the next week until we go for another ultrasound and HCG on the 16th. Keep us in your prayers.
-
Will be sending you all the positive sticky vibes I can Megan and Kim... Kim, you rest up sweetie... and hope you get the good news you are after at your next scan.

You guys are definitely in my prayers...Praying for a wonderful result

Hi everyone,
It seems to be AGES since I posted here...been so busy with work and stuff that time is just flying.
There have been heaps of new members join since I was last on, which is great!
Mostly I wanted to make sure I caught Danni before the big day - good luck hunny...not long now! It seems like just yesterday that we were in the Clomid thread together, so I just can't believe where we're at today! :)
Also, I'm sending heaps of sticky vibes to Megan and Kim. Hang in there girls, I really hope for good news soon. :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl:
Hi and best wishes to everyone else.

Hey Allie!! Havent seen you around for ages! Hope you're going well too :D
-
Megan and Kim- Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and that you'll be in my prayers. Rest up Kim.
-
6 weeks today!!! Only one more week until the next ultrasound and HCG.
Thankyou everyone, your prayers are really working!! This morning Kim had a bit more brown gunk come out when she was (sorry TMI) straining to go to the toilet...but ever since then no sign of anything. Dont worry i am stalking her everytime she goes to the toilet!! I told her nothing is sacred anymore LOL. It could be a busted blood vessel when the placenta was forming and attaching to the uterine wall, its all old blood and thats a very good sign. Absolutely no red blood at all and really, it is only when she wipes. But will keep you all updated for sure! Thanks again everyone...
Hey Danni, love the countdown ticker....ooohhhh my god it is flicking over fast!!!
-
so glad to hear it!! These first few weeks of pregnancy sure are the hardest!! Each day drags and the constant worrying....
then you get to where I am and each day is flying by...your ticker is ticking out of control and you dont know what to do with yourself! :D
-

Hi to all you preggie bellies out there
I hope you've all had a great easter break. Dh and I went away for a few days which was nice.
I can totally relate to everyone about being bloated and the m/s. I find that i'm eating about every 3 hours and if I don't I feel really yuk!! I have my 1st visit with my ob next Wednesday.
Good luck to everyone going for scans in the next week or so.
-
Hi all,
Just thought I better pop in & say g'day before you thought I had gone awol!
Megan & Kim - all the best to you both, sending you heaps of positive vibes.
Danni - wow not long now.
How exciting for you & dh, how is he coping with it all?
Mako - sorry to hear you're having m/s too, isn't it just awful.
For me I am having to eat every hour, at this rate I'm going to be a big fat whale but if I don't eat I am way worse.
So as you guys can probably tell I am still suffering from m/s that seems to last most of the day.
I am just praying that it will only last for the first trimester!
Told all our close family over easter & they are so excited & it's already turned into 'WE are having a baby' not just me & dh.
What a wonderful feeling it is to make so many people happy.
The only bad thing was dh painted our theatre & even though I stayed at my parents for two nights I could still smell it when we went home & I have been so worried ever since, I hope I'm just being over paranoid for nothing.
Dh said he couldn't even smell it but with my pg nose of course I could smell it.

Hey Girls
So far so good, Kim has had a couple of brown streaks in discharge, but otherwise all is well. We went in to see our Dr yesterday and he did another ultrasound and he said the baby is happy as larry in there and we saw the heartbeat again and the baby had little arm buds this time!! He said that if we hadnt told him that there was a hematoma on sunday he wouldnt have even known. He said there is no active bleeding so it is just the old blood from the original bleed working its way out a little at a time. So all good news!! We are still going in on monday for another ultrasound just for the 7 week scan and to do a trace on the heartbeat to see how many BPM etc etc but otherwise he said that the fact that we can see a heartbeat clearly, that there is a nice round yolk sac present and that the gestational sac is nice and round, he is positive everything is going to be ok!! Thank you all so much for your prayers and positive vibes going out to us, i truely believe it made a difference!
-
Megan, thats fantastic!!! :D
-
-
Megan, I'm so pleased to hear that everything is going well. It must be a huge relief to you both. It would have been wonderful to see the heartbeat - I can't wait!!
Jo, how exciting to tell family, I can't wait!! We're going to wait till after our scan next Friday and then tell our parents. They will be so excited - it must make it feel even more exciting for you?!
I'm like everyone else, feeling very nauseous and bloated. I've also been sick with the flu for the last week. That with the m/s, I just feel terrible!!! I'm so snotty, it's horrible. And I'm so tired, which I'm not sure if it's from the flu or pg. I can't wait to shake this flu so at least I'm only dealing with one thing... m/s is so hard - I'm totally off all foods that I usually like and just feel hungry but sick all the time... I hope it's over soon!!!
I hope everyone else feels better soon too.
-
I really dont miss that m/s at all girls...but I do promise you it will go soon! Hang in there
-
Glad to hear that all is well with the bub Megan! Enjoy your scan next week.
-
Yay Megan, I'm so glad things are going well for you and Kim. :)
It is good to be back in this thread. I have recently acquired a new-ish laptop (actually a hand-my-down from DH) which is so much more reliable than my old machine. So I should be able to keep up more regularly now.
Things are OK with me but I'm finding I get quite tired now. I'm working until the end of April, maybe a bit longer, and wondering just how I'll go. Fortunately mine is mostly a sedentary job, which suits me very well ATM!
Hope everyone else is travelling well. :)
-
Just popping in to report that everything is AOK still....hehehehehe, next U/S is on Monday..yay!
OOOHHHH not long to go now Danni!! Single figures!!!!
-
Great news TwoMums...Monday is only two days away too...
Hey Allie...32 weeks, hey? That means your next after Danni, doesn't it?
I'm doing well...feeling the baby kicking so much more now...think I had my first BH the other day...a little scary at first (I didn't know what was happening), but it settled pretty quickly...
Hope everyone else is doing well...
