Thanks for your advice. I will ring Monday and hopefully soemone will be working. Lori- my blood work after all m/c all came back normal. I have ceoliac disease which is a bit of a complication and may be why, and I've also lost 10kg since I m/c last time, so I'm hoping that will help. I might try my GP, juniper, although my clinic is closed til the 4th. I'll just keep making sure my HPT lines keep getting darker!

Welcome Bec and congtratz!!! If your FS hasn't organised any of the follow up blood tests I would just do it yourself with the gp. I had 3 and it's so nice to actually know what your numbers are doing.
So how many weeks does the bfp make you at? I'll be praying you get to your 7w scan and see a beautiful heartbeat :)
Jakui- I'm only just over 4 weeks! Early days for me. I might just ring GP and FS's office and see who can get me in quicker!

Hello everyone, I am nervously joining this thread! This is the fourth time I have been pregnant (and no children yet), so after a successful IVF cycle and Christmas BFP, DH and I really hope this is the one! I have a couple of medical conditions which have been diagnosed and are being treated (and am on daily clexane injections), so we really hope we are on track now.
It's very early days yet...I am nearing six weeks and on crinone still (weaning off) and weekly blood tests.
I look forward to getting to know you all

Big hello to everyone else and I hope you all had very happy Xmas's and New Years.
I'm suffering from what appears to be PUPPS at the moment. It started on NYE and my belly is now covered in little red bumps and is itching like made...ggggrrrrr.. I am going to call the midwives at my OB's office tomorrow but I went to the chemist today to get something to help and all they could recommend was Pinetarsol for external relief and Claratyne for the next couple of days to help with the itching. The pharmacists thinks the hot weather on NYE has brought on the rash, but I just hope it goes away as I've been reading that it can last until the babies are born... and that's another 19 weeks and 3 days away (not that I'm counting)....
Oh, and today at the supermarket an old lady came up to me and said "Ah, not too much longer for you"
my reply: "I'm not even half way yet"
then "It must be twins"
"Yes"
"Well I hope summer is not too hot for you. It is bad enough being pregnant with one during summer so 2 would be horrible"
"Yes I also hope summer is not too hot".
I think I might need to start keeping a record of how many times I get asked "How much longer". It sure would be interesting.
Anyway better start getting dinner organised.

I've been a bit hesitant to jump in here yet, but here we go. I finally got a BFP and had a scan over a week ago showing a lovely little flickering heartbeat. I'm looking forward sharing some special moments with you all in here.

HI to everyone, hope you had a great Christmas and NY's. It has been hugely hot over here, with lots of the usual pregnancy fun that goes along with hot weather and little people who are teething (and a DH with man-flu!)
Bec, Possums and Kaybee - HUGE congrats on your well timed for the silly season BFPs! It has been far too long since we had some BFP's!
Kelly - I am not pregnant with twins obviously, but the number of gloomy people telling me 'oh, that must be awful being pregnant over summer' (it's been over 35 pretty much every day for the last few weeks here) - like we can do anything about it! People love saying negative stuff as though that is going to help what can be a fairly frustrating situation! I actually thought I had PUPPS yesterday as my tummy came up in a rash, but it looks like it was just a heat rash as it's gone today.... I hope your OB can come up with something useful for you to take.
Airline - I would do the list, but given I only have 5 or so weeks to go (am very likely to be induced at 38 weeks) I don't think it's going to be worthwhile it being me!

AFM - My dodgy hip has really starting being painful now so when I have my 34 week check-up next week unless it magically fixes itself, I will be preparing for induction at 38 weeks as I did with my DD. My OB is very happy to give me an induction at 38 weeks, but I am hesitant to commit to it as it means your bubs is coming earlier than they need to. I know other people feel differently about inductions etc, but for me I try to avoid if I can but being in constant pain for 8 weeks will be enough I think!! This is assuming that I am ready to go as I was with my DD, have been having Braxton Hicks (painless still) for the last few weeks and bubs has been head down so it's all positive.
I meant to say this too. Sorry. Anyone in the first half of their pg feel confident enough to take it over?:
Lairdoz, sorry to hear your hip is causing you so much pain. FX the pain can end sooner rather than later.

Lairdoz: I seem to be getting more people comment about being pregnant during summer and seeing as I was pregnant during winter with DD it is nice to experience both side of the coin as after these guys arrive there will be no more babies in this house...
I would've been happy to take over the list but as I am getting further along I know my time will become more and more limited with Drs Appt's, scans and hossy trips.. Not to mention chasing after DD as well. Maybe one of our newbies might take it over as they will be here for a little while :)
YAY I'm celebrating today as I've reached the 1/2 way mark.... My c/s is scheduled for 38w + 4d and today I'm 19w + 2d so the boys are 1/2 way cooked. It is scary and exciting all at the same time and really makes me realise I need to get my but into gear very soon and start getting the extra stuff we will need for them - although we want to wait until after our 20 week scan just to make sure they are both boys.
Sending big belly rubs to you all..

You know, Lairdoz, I think go for it, with the induciton. Being in chronic pain is not good for anyone. Sounds like it's moving along naturally as well, which is good.

AFM, I'm going well, just going back to work for a ridiculous 3 days. Still stressing a bit about those cramps, though haven't had any serious ones since the last ones. Lucky for us, it's been coolish here. It will heat up though. Just enjoying snuggling into a blanket at night while I can (I'm more of a winter person).

Thought I should check in on everyone and say a big hi! It has been so long since I was in here, first we renovated the farm house, then moved, then my sister had some problems with her pregnancy and I had her kids with mums help for a few weeks (making it 2x four years and 2 x two years with mine - three of them toilet training!) so needless to say I have been busy. Add to that Christmas, fighting with my boss who didn't want to give me paid maternity leave even though I'm entited (= stress), and getting Telstra to connect home phone let alone internet; it has been a hectic few months.
Glad to see that there are so many new people in here, a big congratulations to you all and hoping everything is travelling well.
I will gradually catch up on where everyone is as I go....

Lairdoz - I remember you from when I first joined BB in the LT TTC thread - can't believe you're so close to the baby bit. Sorry to hear you're in pain though.
Have been worrying today as I've actually been feeling ok for a couple of days. Did you all stress out at the start? It must be normal, I'm sure. My boobs are fine (they were massive with DS) and I've just been a bit tired. Up till now I've been feeling really sick. I am just so scared of getting to the 12 wk scan and finding out something has already happened. Enough enough enough. It's normal to worry, isn't it?
Anyway, I'm starving, better go
