Pregnancy after LT TTC #20

Well ladies..... I also have some news to share!

We were very surprised to welcome our darling little angel, Kayla, into the world on Sunday, 6 May 2012 at 4:35pm weighing in at 3.73kg (8.3lbs) and 50cms long.

My waters ruptured at 9:30pm on Saturday night (exactally 3 weeks early) and I also opted for no epidural this time although could not get enough gas and demanded a pethadine shot which I could not have gotten soon enough, lol !

DH and I feel so blessed that our family is now complete and she is just so, so beautiful that I can not stop staring at her. It is amazing... she is the spitting image of her DB when he was born . We arrived home this morning (a day early) as I was missing my DS & DH too much).

We love her so much already and I can't wait to properly introduce DS to her this afternoon, xoxo.

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to jump on board. I found out on Tuesday that after so long, we are finally pregnant! Total shock but we are overjoyed!
I had my first BT on Wednesday and my hCG came back at 529. I'm happy with that. What do u ladies think? As I said I'm pleased with that but it's nice to have other reassuring opinions. Trying to keep my worrying in check, so far so good.

Must fly, am about to have din dins but I just wanted to pop in quickly and touch base. Looking forward to chatting with u all during this majorly exciting time :-))

Welcome Dutchie- wow a natural pregnancy, what a nice surprise. Your hcg sounds good, mine was 334 at 4w1d. We will be due around the same time,I think i am 5 wks today too, too scard to get a ticker yet lol

Thank you all for the welcome. I am just stoked to be here, can't believe my luck! So happy and taking it one day at a time. I haven't posted here for a couple of years (during our TTC break) so it'll take me a few days to familiarize myself with everyone and where you're all up to.

Right now I'm patiently sitting in pathology waiting to have my 2nd BhCG test. Praying for nice high numbers in the thousands! I won't get the results until tomorro early arvo, I'll post as soon as I know.
Am just so happy to be here with u girls. It's been 15 years since I saw 2 pink lines and approximately 7 years since we began TTC, I'm just so thankful for everyday I get thru!

Quick question (it might sound silly)...
Would I kno if I was having a m/c?? Are they always associated with bleeding and significant pain? I have neither just very curious. TIA

Completely understand not wanting to put a ticker up. Some people like to wait til the safe 12 week mark before they start telling others etc but I was just so blown away and ecstatic to have my BFP that I wanted to shout it from the rooftops. I don't kno what's going to happen down the track (praying that nothing does) and I'm extremely nervous about it but right now, I'm pregnant!!! and I'm embracing it to the fullest! 15 years is a long time between drinks so to speak. Look forward to getting to kno u all :-))

I will get back on during the week and catch up with everyone and attempt some personals...

I harassed (very nicely :-)) my doctors clinic for my BhCG number as I was really jumping out of my skin to kno. I had a feeling all was well but it's so nice to have reassuring numbers.
I'm so happy to report that my number has soared from 529 last Wednesday to 3204 today!!!!! Receptionist said my doc wanted Wednesday's number to quadruple and it's done more than that! I still feel "different" but as I've said, it's been 15 years since I've been pg, so it's hard to say I remember what it feels like.
