Coral - Posting in here as I have seen you have posted in this thread recently! Tried to pm you but your inbox is full! Would love to chat with you soon!
:bellyrubs: to all you pregnant ladies! :)
Hi Lovely Ladies
Sorry Ive been MIA for so long - work is frantic at the moment as we are short staffed and its the tourism season. I can't wait to finish in March
Pleased to see you all going well - Merideth ~ glad your scan went well and FX'd everything progresses well despite the bleeding :stickyvibesgirl::bluedust:
JBM ~ sorry its late but huge CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of Hunter! :bluecheer:
Also sorry its late but I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and New Year and wishing you all much peace and happiness in 2012! Exciting times ahead! :)
AFM ~ all 3 of us are doing well apart from some financial strain still - but can't complain. Bubs is doing beautifully with lots of movements happening. Only minor concern is my placenta is slightly low but not covering the cervix at the moment which is good.
Best wishes all xoxo
loops: my placenta was still low at my 20 week scan but must have moved at some stage. lol. hope all is going well and you get some time to relax during this silly season.
good luck to you
HI ladies. Have been MIA lately as sooo stressed out by this pg. Add the all day nausea and exhaustion and i'm a bit of a wreck really!
Bleeding has continued on and on and peaked on new years day with a massive, pouring out type flow (sorry TMI). Managed to shuffle tome visitors out the door without saying to much then headed for the ER. They did a quickie scan - baby still there with HB and Dr was fairly positive but then I got home and saw on the u/s pic that bubs measured small for dates. I tried not to think to much of it given it was by no means a "formal" scan. However, I have had this before and baby died within a week so of course have been stressing all over again.
Today finally had my "official" IVF scan and all looks good at this stage........ PHEW, nearly cried! HR 154 and baby measuring exact for dates on their machine. Still no sign where all this blood coming from. Just wish it would stop so I could relax even a little bit.
Anyway, Hope everyone else is doing ok .
Loops - plenty of time for the placenta to move so hopefully won't be an issue
Marushke - how are you doing BUddy?!
Hey Meredith... sorry to hear the bleeding continues, must be a huge stress :(. But it is great to see a healthy hb! I also have all day nausea and tiredness to the extreme. Made it back to work today with a few hits of maxalon. My scan is tuesday and I am hanging out to see if bubs is OK, I should be 8w4d. Cramping pretty bad tonight but trying not to think too much about it... Otherwise, I worry about HappyBaby and hope she is coping ok.
Loops - lots of time for the placenta to move, I hope it does on time, FX for you :)
Hope everyone else is doing good.
meredith: when i was TTC before 3 years ago there was a LTTC lady ( dont remember her name) who had bleeding thruout her preg and baby was fine. fingers crossed for you. good luck . x o :pray::pray:
Hi Ladies,
JBM – I hope you have settled into a nice routine and that baby Hunter is a dream sleeper! I was lucky with DS and he was hardly ever awake during the 1st few months, however, fed consistently every 3hrs.
Joy – So good to hear from you and I have sent you a PM :hugs:.
Loops12 – Totally understand about the MIA… I think everyone is in the same boat. Such a busy time of year and it takes awhile before things settle down to routine again. March is so not far away – yay! It is always February before you know it . I am planning on finishing up at the end of April so an extra month for me .
I can unfortunately relate to the financial strain and am hoping everything will sort it self out in time. Just borrowed some money form my Sister & Brother-in-law (they are fantastic and are like our own personal bank minus the interest fees!) to purchase some furniture for DS so we can move his nursery stuff into the spare room in preparation for Little Bean .
I will keep my :crossfingers: that your placenta rises in the coming weeks… I have never experienced it but have heard that most women’s end up rising and it does not become an issue. Are you having scans to monitor the position in the coming weeks?
So happy to hear that bubs is doing beautifully – yay!
Meredith – Oh, you poor thing . I can’t imagine how tuff a time you must be having a the moment…. I would be beside myself so please vent anytime you need :comfort:.
I am so, so happy to read that bubs is measuring correct for dates and that you heard a lovely strong heartbeat ! Such a huge relief for you but I can understand that it would be hard to relax with the bleeding still going on . If it is any consolation, my Sister had several bleeds early on and all was fine and she delivered a beautiful healthy baby boy.
Thinking of you and praying that the bleeding stops so that you can get some peace of mind, xoxo
Maruschke – Sorry to hear you are also going through stressful times . Sounds like the morning sickness is really affecting you and I hope that the Maxalon is doing the trick! Working and morning sickness is not a good combination!
I cramped allot during my 1st pregnancy so hopefully it is growing pains you are experiencing although I remember freaking out about them too… . I’ll also  for good results for you at your scan next Tuesday. Hoping that time goes quick for you until then.
Yogi Bear, Teirae, MelissaI, Nikki, Lise, jacklicky & Bengal – How are you ladies? I am hoping no news is good news and you are all off enjoying the festive season!
Hi to anyone else I may have missed :hi:.
AFM – All is going really with us – yay! We had our 19w scan yesterday and I am so, so excited to be able to officially announce that we are expecting a beautiful healthy baby GIRL :stork-girl:!!!!
I am still pinching myself at how lucky I am to be expecting a DD as I was fully expecting to see another unmistakable little you know what on the screen, he, he! When the tech showed us the important bits she asked if we could see anything and we said ‘no’ and it was at that moment that I started to cry! We went straight to Target after the scan and DH and I each picked out something pink to buy DD… I think it hit DH then as he started to cry in Target! I am just so, so happy!!!!
Coral how exciting :).
MS is easing here, which is awesome. Had a scan today, bubs measures perfectly on dates with a hr of 172 bpm. :D :D :D
thanks for understanding ladies about being MIA - great to see everyone is doing really well.
Thanks also for the positive reassurance about the low placenta :-)
Take care and thinking of you all xo
Hey ladies,
I have been offline for the past week as we were away and just trying to catch up with everything.
Coral - huge congrats on expecting a little girl. I didn't really believe I was having a girl until DD came out! It is lovely to have one of each much as really once you've been through LTTC gender becomes far less important than I guess it is for many. A sonogropher once told me she had a women heartbroken because her totally healthy baby was found to have an EDD in an astrological month she wasn't happy with!!
Marushke - Yay at bubs doing what he/she is supposed to be doing. Great news!
AFM - Have still had light bleeding this whole week which is just getting really annoying. MS not really easing at all and with a bout of gastro thrown in during our holiday, I have lost over 5kgs ( I am pretty tiny to start with so not a really welcome thing). Am trying to get some more food in but just totally not interested in anything or it makes me feel ill soon after. Fortunately, babies are true parasites so it doesn't care at all - saw my OB again today and bubs looks well. Just counting down the days to 12.5 weeks when i'll have my official scan. I'm still in denial that a baby might actually come out of this!!
Geez Meredith you have been through a lot, you'll be in my prayers that all works out and you get bubba no 3 at the end of this!!
Hope everyone is well!
xo
Hi everyone!
Gee its been quiet in here lately, i dont think there are many of us in here at the moment? Or maybe everyone is still enjoying the festive season and on holidays!:)
Coral - congrats on a precious little girl! :cheer: I actually think i'm having a girl too, keep checking on the scans and keep seeing the 'hamburger' lines...even DH saw them clear as day last time, no dangly bits!
Meredith - huge hugs for you  sounds like you are having a rough time at the moment. I hope the bleeding stops and you feel better soon. Hang in there honey!
Loops - Wow, your pregnancy seems to be flying! though its funny that other peoples pregnancies go so quick while your own just seems to take forever. Do you have any more scans coming up?
Hi to everyone i've missed.
Ladies, i need some reassurance here, or some experience or words of wisdom...
Had 28 wk scan on thurs and Ob said bub looks too small for dates (almost 2wks behind) and sent me straight away to another scanning centre for a complete growth scan. They found that all looked good with bub, heartrate good, blood flow through the cord and in the brain all normal, fluid levels good....just a small baby and sitting on borderline at the lowest end of 'normal' (5th percentile). My Ob started stressing me out saying be prepared to be delivered early as growth not good and also brought up risk of chromosome abnormalities cause we didn't have the ammnio and so cant rule that out. But from what the sonographer said all looks good, dont worry its just a small baby. I am having another scan next week. I am just so unhappy with my Ob, she is always putting the 'fear of God' into me, i think its because she knows my history and our risk factors and its like she is automatically predicting that something terrible is going to happen to my baby. I was so upset over the weekend but from what i have read (thanks to googling!) this is unlikely to be an issue and baby most likely perfectly fine. My gut feeling tells me bub is ok, getting lots of movement and growing steadily bigger in the belly (fundus measurements all on track) I just feel like Ob is a scaremonger, she has never offered any positive reassurance about this pregnancy. I am seeing my specialist immune ob next week and am looking forward to his opinion, he is much more positive and i fully trust him.
Anyway, sorry for all that. As if this journey isn't stressful enough as it is i just dont need negative Drs too! If anyone reading this has any advice or experience with small babies, would love to hear them, good or bad....hopefully good! I know i am at risk of IUGR and preterm labour so be it, but at the same time i dont want to stress unnecessarily when all other indications point to a happy, albeit small, baby.
Thanks
Yogi
xx
*hugs Yogi*
some babies are small, and they did the right thing to check it all out properly and like you said, heartrate was good, cord flow, fluids etc.. all you can do is monitor it, so another scan in a few weeks and see if bub is staying on the same percentile. Try not to stress, focus on all that movement. xoxo.
I'm measuring small, my fundus is 2cm behind (has been the whole time), but my bub (according to the 20weeks scan) is on the 63%, ...don't know what my point is really... just that measuring etc is still off even though we have all the scans etc.
*hugs*
Hi ladies,
It's been so long since I've posted in here you might not remember me :hide: but I promise to be better from now on! I was incredibly tired first trimester (as well as having awful ms all day/night long) basically in bed at night as soon as DS was, which very much limited my BB time. I started to feel better second trimester, and then we had our nt scan, results of which indicated we were very high risk for down syndrome. After a few stressful days (which happened to coincide with my birthday and the days just prior to Christmas) I spoke with someone from the fetal medicine unit at the hospital and I'm having a scan at the hospital at 18 weeks to see how everything is. All going well that will be it, but if things don't look good then we'll consider an amnio. I'm still not sure if I want one, we wouldn't terminate based on the results but I think I'd like to know if there was something wrong so I could be prepared.
Anyway, apologies for the all about me post, I feel very rude writing it after not having been on for so long  but I can hear DS yelling in bed so I think I'd better see what he wants. Will be back tomorrow with persies xx
Hey hey, it's been a long time since I posted too. Just want to send out a big hug to Yogi and Lise - hoping all is good with your bubbas.
Just wanting a bit of advice. I have a very very close friend who is also a ltttc-er and this girl absolutely has been through hell. She is about to start her final ivf cycle, she had a stillborn son whose edd anniversary is coming up and is very down. I so much want to be able to help her but she won't return emails, texts or anything. What do you think I should do - just wait until she is ready to talk, just keep touching base with her a few times a week via email cos she doesn't want to talk? I just don't know so any ideas would be great. I know from my own experiences that it is such a catch 22 - get mad when a pg person keeps talking about their pregnancy, get mad if they studiously avoid talking about it and get mad if they keep their distance as well - help. I know part of the reason she won't talk to me is self preservation on her part but I just want to be able to help her through this and know that she is alright and that I am always there for her to pour everything out to like we always have in the past.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mel ~ I would keep touching base every week or two, not too often, but enough for her to know that you are still around and when ever she is ready/wants to you ou are there. but yea I would let her have her space though and let her come to you. wishing your friend all the best.
lise ~ *hugs* fx everything will be ok.
Just a quickie from me. My apologies too as its really hard to get on here sometimes
Just had to reply to Yogi and Lise - stressing about the health of such "hard to get" babies is horrible
Yogi - I haven't got huge words of wisdom for you but I would also err on the side that baby is probably fine - just small especially if you have predisposing factors that may contribute to IUGR.
My DD was considered to have mild IUGR - picked up at 32w scan. My OB wasn't overly negative but certainly cautious for him and I was recc to be induced early . I was quite against this initially and faught him on it. Then spoke with the sonographer whom I had used many times so knew fairly well. He was not overly worried either but did say that sometimes small babies can mean poor placental function and that this can go downhill quite quickly to the point of sudden foetal death. My OB never mentioned this to me but the sonographer says he knows my OB has had a couple of cases where this ma have happened. Not trying to scare you at all - just relaying what I was told.
I did then aggree to induction at 35weeks although I was practically in labour by then anyway so shelikely would have been prem anyway. Yes she was small but otherwise perfect and only 2 weeks in special care. She was also not as small as scans predicted so remember - scans are not "fact"
I guess my point would be not to panic but take the regular scans to check baby and if its recc baby come out early then perhaps go with it.
Lise - feeling for you too. HOw horrible to live in limbo wondering if baby ok or not. Try to remember the "risk" calculation for downs etc is just that - a calculation. Even a 1 in 2 risk would still mean you had a 50% chance of a normal baby. I jknow a few people who have been pushed to termintate based on scan findings etc and then gone on to have perfectly healthy babies
Hello to everyone else. Sorry running out of time for more perrsies.
AFM - still getting some bouts of bleeding but as far as I know baby still ok. My haematologist is altering some of my meds but not convinced it will make much difference. I have bled in pregnancy not on any meds. 10weeks now so edging closer to my goal of 12-13weeks! Maybe I'll put up a ticker then
I went through this a lot when friends who shared my journey became pregnant and I didn't . I now have GF's keep their distance from me and I completely understand why so I am not offended.
Perhaps make it a little more personal than an email or text, and buy a simple card with a little charm or something and let her know your there and thinking if her, rather than emailing weekly as that may just become upsetting (even though she is a close friend) let her know your giving her the space she needs and post it.
Hope that helps Hun, if she is not responding Hun, I wouldn't keep emailing (hugs)
Meredith glad to hear all is going pretty much OK. Keep hanging out for the 12w scan, not long now!
Everything fine here, boring really. Zzzz
Thanks for your thoughts ladies. I'm strangely calm and not worried at the moment - both DH and I think everything will be okay. But then I worry that I'm not worried enough, and worry that if something IS wrong it will be such a shock to us. Ahhh, gotta laugh sometimes, even I can see the lack of logic there ;)
Meredith, hope your bleeding has stopped so you can finally start enjoying the pregnancy. Getting closer to your goal!!
Melissa, hope your friend is okay and has let you in a bit closer to offer some support. As you said, it's such a catch 22 and everyone is different in how they want to be treated it can be difficult to offer the right level of support and comfort.
Maruschke, (oh, my auto correct wants to call you maris hoe!!), glad everything is boring. Boring is good! Took me ages to work that out with DS, I'd see the OB for two mins and get charged $100 and get cross. Someone finally pointed out to me if I only saw her for two mins it meant things were fine and I had nothing to worry about :)
Big hello to everyone else, hope you're traveling well.
AFM, I had a breakthrough at work today! Actually, two victories, so happy about that :) otherwise, I'm wondering when I'll start feeling regular movements from this baby. I felt DS from 17 weeks exactly and while I think I've felt this one a couple of times, it's not as obvious as I was expecting. But then I figure that I'm much busier this time round and don't have as much resting time, so I probably just don't have as much time to notice. At least I hope so anyway...
Well should go eat a chocolate biscuit before bed, don't think I've hit my chocolate quota today!!
Belly rubs to all xx
Thank you Teirae & Meredith for your replies and well wishes  Meredith, glad to hear DD arrived safe and is doing well. I know about quite a few small/premature babies and they are all perfectly healthy. Good news... i had another scan yesterday and bub still doing well and growing at normal rate, actually had a growth spurt and is now up to just over the 10th centile so i'm really happy with that! I see my Ob on friday but no doubt she will find something negative to say to me, i dont think anything is ever good enough unless the baby fit the perfect 'textbook' pregnancy! My immune Dr was much more positive and said its just likely to be a genetically small baby with no chromosome issues. At the end of the day no one knows for sure the health of their baby until they are born, regardless of whether the pregnancy is 'high risk', 'low risk' or all looks 'normal' on ultrasound. I am just so sick of my Ob always talking about the worst that can happen...i just wonder if she does this to all women. The extra stress is not what a pregnant lady needs!!
Anyway, i'm feeling much more relaxed now and bub is still busy kicking me in the bladder...nothing wrong with its legs anyway!!
Hi to everyone, hope you are all well. Its quiet in here...guess everyone is off enjoying their happy healthy pregnancies.
Yogi
xx
great to hear Yogi!! =) Yay for bladder kicks =) I get mine in the stomach, basically right on my belly button atm
Hi ladies,
had my scan today - no abnormalities detected or any of the soft markers that would indicate down syndrome, they said everything looked great. They can't guarantee of course that the baby doesn't have down syndrome but the scan has effectively halved our risk we're feeling much more relieved. We've decided not to go for an amnio as we don't consider the risk to be worth it, and the clinical director we spoke with, although he couldn't really say, seemed to think that was a sensible decision. The quality of the scan itself was absolutely amazing, the hospital must have much more advanced technology than other places, it was great.
And we found out - it's a boy
I had a slight moment of disappointment that I won't ever have a daughter (DH only wants to have two babies, he thinks we're getting too old for more after this ) but we're so excited to be having another little boy, he'll only be two years younger than DS, and because the due date is the same as with DS we have all the clothes already so don't have to buy anything!
Anyway, am at work so can't do persies but will hope back on tonight. Hope everyone is well, belly rubs to all xx
Thats fantastic Lise!!!
Sent via my vortex manipulator!
hey ladies!!!
just doing a quick stalk and ran into this thread... aaaahhhh how i remember thee olde days! lol.
Just wanted to wish you all heaps of healthy luck and hope your special bubs arrive soon... From a mumma who's been through this long painful journey twice (i know, how lucky am i!) a few words I wanted to share.
Yogi - google is NOT your friend under any circumstances. trust your instinct and if there are any issues, it won't change anything important like, oh, you have a beautiful little bubba who you love more than life itself! My 2nd bub was huge 10lb3 - as i went through a birth centre with only 1 scan at 20weeks it wasn't picked up... but i'm sure if i had a private ob with their scans, I would have been told she's huge and i'd need a c-sect and i'd need a special diet and i'd need to deliver early etc etc... turned out no GD, she came at 41 weeks herself within 3 hrs, no drugs and no tears. *puffs out chest* So i'm sure all will be fine! some people have big bubs, some have small bubs... that's the way it works i suppose!
meredith - omg how awful you are having this bleeding. i hope it settles soon and you don't reach 13 week mark but the 40 week mark!!! :)
lise - hi lovely!!! little boys are so super cute lol
Sorry for my small hijack girlies. belly rubs to you all!!! stay healthy and take care of yourselves.
:) ox
sending some good luck vibes from the other side .... thats when the baby is out of the tummy ... lol
hope you get some of the luck that is ...
yogi and meredith especially
good luck
Congrats Lise!
I'm going for the NT scan on Friday. Can't believe it's been 12 weeks already! Time flies!
Hi ladies, hope everyone is enjoying a safe & happy pregnancy!
Grub, thanks so much for stopping by and offering your advise...and great advise too, yep google can be your worst enemy sometimes. I have stopped searching the net for info & peace of mind cause as you said at the end of the day i love this bub no matter what! When i look back at this pregnancy so far the "scares" we have had have only been indications...in actual fact everything has been going along pretty well i think, bub is looking fine, lots of movements and growing at normal rate, just a little small thats all. I have been healthy all along, no gest diabetes, no high BP, no other complications etc...i just have these 'possibilities' hanging over my head, but hey there is no point worrying about something that might not (and probably wont) happen at all! thanks again xxx
lise, congrats on good scan results...and congrats on a little boy!! :bluecheer:
Teirae, thanks too for your support  how are you going? are you getting organised for bub? I have only just recently felt comfortable buying stuff, just small things for now like a few clothes and wraps etc...will worry about the bigger purchases later i think.
JBM, thanks for popping back in, you are most welcome anytime & please give us an update on your precious little boy. give him a cuddle from me...:sling:
Am off to have CTG done tomorrow...hope bub prooves to be a happy & content baby? :crossfingers:
Much love to all :loveshower:
Yogi xx
Thanks ladies, we're pretty happy with our scan results. Now I just need to work on DH's agreeing to 'my' boy's names!
Maruschke, good luck for your scan on Friday!!! Yay for 12 weeks and for seeing your little one  Will you tell people after your scan, if you haven't already??
Yogi, good on you for having such a positive attitude! It can be hard at times but sounds like you're in a great head space :) Forgive me for my ignorance, but what is a CTG? Is it to measure bub's growth? As for buying things for the baby, took me ages to buy anything for DS, and then I went out and pretty much bought everything big in one go! How many weeks are you now? My only suggestion is that many stores have to order big items in as they don't have them all in stock. We had to wait at least six weeks for the first of our furniture to arrive, and I was so impatient for it to come so I could set it all up ;)
A quick question for everyone - how much weight have you put on and when have you put it on? I know how much I put on with DS all up (20kg ) but can't remember when I put it on. I'll be 19 weeks on Friday and so far I'm 3kg lighter than when I fell pregnant (I lost weight in the first trimester due to ms)...
Anyway, hope you're all well, belly rubs xx
Tei, I DEFINITELY put on lots of weight in the third trimester with DS!!! I lost it all through breastfeeding by the time DS was 10 weeks though so that was a bonus. I think it also had something to do with the fact that DS was such a bad sleeper and would only sleep cradled in my arms, I spent all my time sitting on the couch starving, but scared to move in case DS woke up
i only put on 10 kg with Hunter !!! .. i put on 14 kg ... then 16 kg and 19 kg with ds 3 !!!!!!! ouch
every preg is different
good luck
im getting so impatient and restless.... I dont want bub to come now! but I want my baby!!!!
Hi lise, i've put on about 9kgs so far i think, but i packed on a few kilos at the start with doing ivf(that tends to bloat me up quick!) I'm now over 30 weeks and been trying to eat more lately since being told bub is small, lots of protein and snacking on heaps of fruit & nuts. My Ob hasn't weighed me since my very first visit so i guess she isn't too concerned about my weight, also i personally dont know how it could be a good indication of growth of baby cause how could you ever tell if the weight gain was on you or the baby? I could eat heaps and heaps and put on weight and the baby could still not grow properly...anyway, i'm still going to give it a go! Had the CTG yesterday and all looks fine with bub. Its stands for 'cardiotocography' and measures heartrate against bubs movements, they look for a slight increase in heartrate when they move. I was totally freaked out at the beginning as when there was a big movement the machine went quiet for a while, i was thinking the baby's heart was stopping!!! The midwife then came in and explained its just the sensor losing contact for a while when it moves a lot, and that my baby was doing just fine. I started crying as it brought up a lot of emotions and feelings about my previous miscarriages and not hearing any heartbeat. While i am so grateful and happy to have this wonderful miracle growing inside me now, I still think of my precious angel babies who never got to make it this far. They sacrificed their lives for this little one now and i'm sure they are watching over their sibling from heaven.
...sorry to be sad there, i know i shouldn't really talk about it here but thanks for listening. xxx
Teirae, i know exactly how you feel! While i am so excited and impatient about meeting my baby I also want them to stay inside for as long as possible. my ob keeps saying to me i wont make it to full term, but she still cant give any indication of when...i guess noone is going to know (unless they can predict the future!). I think she is confident i'll make it to 34 weeks, then i'm hoping we can take it day by day, i will be really happy to make it to 37weeks. :crossfingers: time will tell.
Well, now my next hurdle is another growth scan next tues...grow baby grow!
Hi to everyone, have a great weekend :)
yogi xx
Oops, just remembered about your scan today Maruschke...good luck!:goodluck:
Meredith, how are you going? Hope you are feeling better now and the bleeding easing up? When is your 12 wk scan? Thinking of you xxx
Coral, Loops and all the other glowing pregnant ladies out there....belly rubs to you all, hope all is well :bellyrubs:
Bye again
Yogi I hope your precious girl hangs in there til 37 weeks or more :D.
Scan today was great... bubba is all fine, and we saw a pretty obvious penis, sonographer was fairly confident. Woot! I guess now it's time to relax and enjoy this pregnancy.
Woo hoo Maruschke!! So glad your scan went well, and congrats on a little boy :)
Yogi, what a journey you've had hon :hugs: I'll be sending lots of growing and 'staying put' vibes your way to encourage your bubba to grow as big as possible before they decide to make an appearance.
Tei, I know how you feel, I was the same with DS! And then after he was born I missed being pregnant, lol
DH is off to Moscow tomorrow for a week with work so it's just me and DS. I'm sure everything will be fine but I don't like thinking that he'll be halfway across the world :(
Hi Lovely Ladies
Sorry again for being MIA, lately Ive had terrible back ache at night and I've hardly slept.
Apart from that everything else has been wonderful - I've been loving all the movements etc and bubs is all well.
Yogi and Merideth ~ sorry to hear about all of your anxieties etc- but so pleased to see your bubz are hanging in there! You'll get there!
Lise ~ very happy to see your post too and that everything is going so well :) Ive put on only about 3.5kg so far.
Maruschke ~ Yay for your great scan results and for Blue!
JBM and Tei ~ good to see everything is well with you both, I know the feeling I dont want bubz to come too early but I can't wait to see him or her.
Take care everyone and lots of :bellyrubs:
hey ladies,
sorry I've been soooo slack lately but with DS just starting school and lots going on, I haven't even managed to get on to lurk.
Will not have time to do proper posts now as have to go out but have read up on how you are all going.
Lise - so happy your follow up scan went well. I hope you can enjoy your little man now. I think I'm likely to have the same stresses as you soon.Given my age, I know I'm going to get some bad risk numbers. I really, really don't want an amnio so praying the actual scan is good so I can base my decision on that.
Yogi - so glad your little one is doing so well. Just keep growing little one!
Marushke - thanks for thinking of me and your PM. So happy for you that the scan went well and you can now look forward to buying some blue stuff for the house! Boys can sometimes be a bit of a handful in the younger years but everyone tells me they are much easier than hormonal teenage girls!
Aggh running out of time so will have to come back and finish persies later.
I am doing ok. MS easing off. Bleeding has been on and off but not so bad last week or so.
Have 12w (closer to 13w) scan tomorrow so beginning to get quite anxious. I'm bound to get high risk numbers given my age but really don't want an amnio. Just have to come to some agreemjent with DH on the whole subject. Just hoping our little one looks good on scan so perhaps we can just ignore the numbers.
